Hey, let’s keep up the chocolate!

A.M. weigh-in: 146.0

I hafta say, that surprises me a bit. I totally had a chocolate fit last night: Junion Mints at the movies. A movie theater size box. Then I got an organic brownie at the store while I was doing the grocery shopping. 210 calories not well spent, let me tell you. And totally NOT satisfying. So I stopped at 7-11 on the way home and got a  REAL brownie - the 490 calorie super moist and chewy kind. AH, that did it!! I was good (well, as good as I could be ass deep in this much chocolate already) and only ate half. I gave the other half to my daughter who shared it with Skye. I ate more than half my calories/points in that little chocolate fit! YIKES!!

I realized that I needed to find something that could satify that need for creamy chocolate without getting too crazy. I found Hershey’s milk chocolate 60 calorie sticks (1 point). They are SKINNY and looooong - so it’s easy to take small bites and make it last. I had one tonite and it reallly did the trick! I’m SO happy I found them!! They also come in dark chocolate, caramel filled and mint milk chocolate. Can’t wait to try ‘em all!!

 

Today was a much better day calorie/point/healthy-wise! My total points today is 15.5, which means I have 4.5 more that I could use if I want a snack during Desperate Housewives.

Here’s what I ate today:

Breakfast: oatmeal pancake muffin thing (I got the recipe from Pasta Queen)

Snack: 28 Emerald Cocoa Roast almonds

Lunch: 6″ veggie delight on whole grain wheat from Subway (no cheese, tons of veggies!)

Snack: WW Peanut Butter Bliss bar

Dinner: 2 LaTortilla factory low carb soft taco size tortillas (whole wheat) filled with
             4 slices Foster Farms oven roasted turkey breast slices (2 per tortilla)
             lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, pickles and spicy brown mustard

PM Snack: 1 Hershey’s 60 calorie stick
                 1 bag 100 calorie kettle popcorn
