Back on track, sorta, kinda

I’m kinda back on track. But not totally. Didn’t workout yesterday or today. Counted my points… higher and higher and higher… especially today. Last night was wine-tasting and sushi out with friends. Sooo, I really watched my points for the day and then kinda blew them last night. Not horrible. Until I stopped and got a piece of chocolate cake on the way home at a convenience store. Where did that come from? Then today, again SO careful during the first half of the day. Watching, counting, logging… and then Superbowl. We had turkey burgers. I was supposed to have one, I had two. And chips, Sunchips, but one serving (I even counted out 15 chips into a bowl.) Then I ate a couple more, and a couple more, and a couple more… and then had some Doritos. And a Yoplait Light yogurt. And a 100 calorie bag of Kettle Corn. And 5 WW 1 point English Toffee Squares… and then I met with my Independent film group to watch Che Part One: The Argentine at our local movie house. It was excellent. Didn’t eat anything during the movie. But, of course, part of going to an independent movie with a group is discussing it afterwards (much like a book club) which we did at the little coffee and sandwich shop next door. I had a green tea (zero calories) and a very flaky and buttery croissant (approx. ten billion calories). Then I came home and had another 1 point WW English Toffee Square.

Seriously wondering what the hell is wrong with me! Well, Miss Scarlett, tomorrow is another day!

  1. Hey, you haven’t quit yet so you are doing this! Bobbles happen, even I ate pizza thingies at superbowl time and I usually avoid wheat at all costs! lol I’m guessing some of the weight from Vegas was what I call travel weight, basically bloating from being up too much, not as much water as usual, etc. etc. You can do this! 2. getting off track is easy to do. You think you can handle a day, a holiday, a vacation, but in reality, there’s soemthing working against us. It is REALLY hard to get back on track sometimes!
