Totally losing it

I knew today was going to be a bad day before I even got out of bed. I don’t know why. So self-fulling prophesy or destiny, I know not - but it was a pretty crappy day. Food wise, everything else was just fine. Well, except Sean wasn’t looking too good this morning, so I didn’t send him to school. Bit of a cold and it was causing some wheezing. I know if I’d sent him to school I’d have gotten a call to come pick him up within an hour. So I saved us all the hassle and let him sleep in a bit. Then he got to go with me to work for a while. I’m the store manager of a toy and hobby store that my parents own - like heaven on earth to a 7 year old boy! Needless to say, he does NOT suffer when he comes to work with me. But other than than, today went smoothly. Except that I did eat terribly today. And now I’m sitting here all gassy and bloated and greasy and gross feeling… and craving chocolate. I want to slap myself hard - WAKE UP ME!! WTF are you doing???!!! No exercise again today. Oh, and not because I’m sore. Though I am having terrible back pain the past couple of days. But really just excuses, excuses, big fat f***ing excuses. SHUT UP ME!

No more food today (it’s 5pm and I’m sure I’m at least double my calories for the day). I WILL workout when I get home even though as I’m typing this my brain is desperately trying to think of excuses not to. SHUT THE F**K UP ME!!!

Seriously - get a GRIP!

  1. LOL! Been there, done that!

Hey! Thanks for the kids’ housecleaning tips! I “inherited” my twin grandsons four and a half years ago. It was never really formally decided that they would live with us. It just kind of happened. That’s part of the problem. They weren’t taught from a young age to help out and they’re clueless about cleaning and doing chores. On the other hand, they’re good as gold and I just kind of let them slip through the cracks on the housekeeping thing. Now they’re almost 18 years old and it’s time they learned. New Year’s Resolution: They’re going to do their part.
