On track

Weighed in at 158.0 this morning. Excellent. I’m not gaining and I’m eating around 1200 calories a day. Awesome. I’m exercising. Also Awesome. Actually that deserves a Totally Awesome! I drank my 64 oz of water yesterday. Shooting for that again today.

Food-wise today is going to be a challenge. My grandparents 65th wedding anniversary party is tonite. I know there will be cake ’cause my mom is bringing it. I’m sure there will be nothing diet or carb friendly. I can’t even have a game plan. Cause this is an old people party and my grandma likes to show off how sophisticated she is. So there will most likely be lots of mini-quiche shaped finger foods and things skewed by toothpicks. And wine. Fortunately, I do not like wine. Unfortunately, the only people I’m going to know at this party are: my grandparents, my parents, my alcoholic aunt and uncle. My aunt made a series of progressively more embarrassing scenes at my sister’s wedding back in August. I will regale you all with those at a later date. It was the first time I’d seen her in probably 10 years. The wedding started at 4:30pm and she showed up totally sloshed. The last time I’d seen her was a family holiday gathering at my parents house. She’d shown up to that totally plastered… at 11a.m. It looked like she’d spent the years in-between soaked in wine. She’s my mom’s younger sister and she looked at least 10 years older. My mom has never had a drink in her life. I’m thinking Mom has the right idea afterall!!

So, today will be a bit of a challenge. I’ll blog more tonite.

  1. Houses are not very cheap and not everybody is able to buy it. However, loans are created to help people in such hard situations.
