This year I am looking to run my first 5k. It will be the Sandy Sprint 5k for the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation. A family friend of mine is battling ovarian cancer for the second time at age 24. She is a huge inspiration.
This year after gaining 30lbs back I am ready to start getting back into shape and really challenging myself to stay active and stay in shape. I have done walks in previous years but they have always been WALKS. I am ready to run, or jog atleast! So I have been back in the gym and back to eating healthier. I have a little less the 2 months to get myself ready.
I haven’t decided on a goal, other than finishing the race without fainting. That is something I will decide within the coming weeks, so I am open to suggestions.
