I am about as stealth a runner as Pumba and would really like to change that. C25K seems to be the choice of the masses around here and doing Jillians 30 Day Shred just scares me. So the exercise plan right now will simply be C25K. Warthog-likeness be gone! Gonna track my torture here. Will hopefully get to wallow in success here in 9 weeks. I have chosen Wed, Fri, Sun as my days. Read that someone has chosen those and really liked it. I hate committing to anything on Mondays and Tuesdays biggest loser is on, so this worked out well.

1/1/2009 Gonna start C25K Over again. Maybe today. You know what… definitely today! I am feeling like I want to right now actually. :) Also going to start 30DS. Will Log here…. deleting my 2008 attempt at it after re-reading! I am going to walk/run 500 Miles in 2009. thats about 9 miles a week. I will be less at first and longer distance as the year progresses. I know I can do this.

1/2/09 ~ W1D1 complete ~ did and extra 15 minutes of walking… go through first 4 walk/run cycles and had to stretch the rest period out on the last few. Was a bugger… I have to remember I have put on about 5lbs since I did it last. Shocked at how much it affected my ability to pull this off. I thought it would be easy. Silly girl!

1/4/09 ~ Walked 30 minutes. Had to start at 1.5mph and work up to 3.1. My legs are pissed from 30DS yesterday. I wasn’t gonna walk, but I did. No running AT ALL. Will see how much rest I get tonight, and how I feel for tomorrow. 1.38 miles

1/5/09 ~ better… 30 minutes 1.55 miles pushed myself a little. ran 4 times 45 sc to a minute. Not true C25k but working my way back.

1/6/09 - NADA

1/7/09 - 30 min 130cal  1.62 miles  3.1mph ran 4 times approx 45 sec. add another 1.33! 25minutes. Last chance work out!

1/8/09 - Rest Day

1/9/09 - 45 min 277 cal 2.33 miles 2.7 to 3.4 with few jogs at 4.8  incline 1 to 2.5

1/10 & 1/11 walked about 3 miles between both days. Not formal exercise but I was moving!

1/12/09 - 45 min 276 cal 2.36 miles 2.9 to 3.3mph and 1.5 to 3.5 incline. Started as C25K W1D1…. got thru 4 run/walk cycles and shins were screaming. Changed to steady walk with changing inclines. Good sweat… dead ipod :)

1/13/09 - 30 min 1.23 miles 165 cal… SSSLLLLOOOOWWWW after doing 30DS at night instead of this morning. Back of knees (knee pits?) feel funny. Did the “weightloss” program Level 1 on my tm. It sucked. Like my method better. Will keep at getting back to C25K.

1/18/09 - Tail bone contusion…. FOOOOOEEEEYYYYYY!

2/9/09 - 1st day back to a good 45 tm session since I got hurt.  2.15 miles. burned 294 cals.  Felt good!

2/11/09 - another 45minutes  varying incline up to 8!!  2.13 miles 311 calories!

3/3/09 -45 min 2.29 miles 322 cals.  Sweating like a stuck pig.  Feel like I’m not pushing myself but dont feel like I can handle much more either.
