-Not Healthy Yet July 2, 2009
So I know in the reality of things, I’m writing this blog for myself, especially at the beginning. I’m really looking for an accoutnability partner or group who will be like now Mira Mae did you exercise today.
So today is day 1 and I pretty much just woke up and decided that July 2, 2009 was going to be the day I decided to be healthy and try a bout at losing weight again.
Yes I’ve tried this before but not with such motivation. I haven’t had a huge aha moment. I just got married, I want to have children and I don’t feel like thats a possibility at my present weight.
I’m a generally healthy individual but I know HTN and DMII is around the corner if I continue going the way I am. I will be a BSN-RN in a month or two and who am I to tell an individual they need to lose weight if I myself am overweight. That’s a blatant oxymoron!
So currently I am: 304lb 5′5″ with a BMI of like 49 (WOW!)
I’m at the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life and I would like to keep it that way. I always vowed to never go over 300 and I’ve let myself down so I’m going to nip it in the butt and get down to my goal weight. I know it’s not going to happen over night it’s going to take a long time. I don’t have a gym membership or a treadmill at home, nor do I have the money to purchase any of these right now. What I do have is a couple TAEBO DVDs and WII fit as well as endless opportunities to go on walks outside
I’m going to be working on updating my musical play list so any suggestions would be helpful!!
I”m going to logg my food and my exercise here! So feel free to comment on what I could have chosen better, or what I could have done more. I need it.
P.S. I’m on a very weird schedule. I wake up at like 1130-1pm everyday. I’ve been very ill these last few days so It’s even more messed up. Also a note about today, I wasn’t planning on starting a diet or anything like that.
I also want to try to get in all my water 64oz. I tend to not drink all day and I know half my hunger is thirst

you got good points, but i’m not truly convinced of this. and i got to much confusion in my life at this moment to spend longer on it. i’ll check back to see your postings.
