Back to School! July 13, 2009

School has begun. I always eat less when I’m in school! BUT, I also walk alot more, which could be bad. I’m a little stressed BUT I officially changed my name with the university which was very exciting!! I’m staying with a friend here as well as my Hubby! It’s fun, were basically camping :p

It’s put a damper on my working out and stuff so far, but I’m still keeping track. I’m going to try and do my wii fit tomorrow as I slept the day away today. I was exhausted from moving and stuff!

I came up with another reason to exercise and why I want to lose weight so I’m going to edit that post with today’s date next to the one I’m adding :) BECAUSE…I want to have children, my chances increase if I lose weight of me having my own children. They are already very low at normal weight at obese their extremely low.

I’m working on developing an inspiration outfit and stuff that I’m going to bring here to this website! For my first mini-goal!

I haven’t weighed myself yet. But I’M anticipating a gain :( because I haven’t eaten enough these past  2 days so my body probably thinks its starving again. I need to eat more for breakfast :p

The beautiful Miss Jennifer Hudson! This is another inspiration photo! I love curves and I want lots of em. Shut and Drive is going to be my theme song by Rhianna! BUT right now I’m working with rolls :P

Well I’m off to sleep and for a better day tomorrow!!

Breakfast/Lunch

Family Reunion :p

I have no idea how much was in any of this, I forgot my salad at home :(

I had beef n noodles (one scoop)!

Asian Salad ( 1 scoop)

5 baby carrots, 2 pieces of broccoli, 2 pieces of celery

A few pieces of chicken breast

and a diet pepsi!

I know it wasn’t much of anything!

Dinner

QDOBA!!!!!!  I splurged since I already ruined my day with the reunion I figured why not!

I got the lean pork NAKED with black beans, rice, corn salsa, lettuce, grilled peppers!

The nutrition fact says 540 calories :)

I ruined it by having Chips and Guac! I seriously am addicted to GUAC! BUT I only ate teh broken ones

BUT my awesome diet buddy sent me a link for guiltless guacamole it’s only 65 calories a serving. Imma try it :p

Evening

1 little cup of Musselman’s applesauce from Steak and Shake and a water!

I then went to bed :)

This is just a piece of inspiration for me! I love Marilyn Monroe…she’s definitley someone I admire. I think she’s gorg and I’d love to look half that good! I just want to be able to pull off a bathing suit without embarrassing myself. I’m not even looking to a bikini that would be nice, but a sweet one piece would be great!

 

African and Guac

I was getting ready to do my wii fit and I convinced my husband and my mother to go for a walk with me.

It was great to get my mom moving!!

My mother walked with us for 30 minutes, I even got her power walking. We do a form of HIT cardio. We walk, then we walk as fast as we can for a certain length of time, or length in the road. I’m up to do whole blocks now which is good!

Then my husband and I walked for another 15 minutes. I came back and did wii fit for 30 minutes! I feel good. I ate like crap today!

We had african which is my weakness….and I almost ate it all. I wanted to but I stopped myself, but I still feel bad about all the carbs today. it was the guacamole. 2 of my weaknesses in one day, and tomorrow I have the family reunion. i’m going to take a bowl of lettuce, and healthy option tuna.

We’ll see. Moving to Terre Haute tomorrow!! Cannot wait!!

Off to sleep, must rise early to pack :P

1 piece of whole wheat bread - 110 cal. (I’m never buying this bread again)

Food Nazi July 9, 2009

So for today I have been a total food nazi and that had to do with the fact that “lunch” aka your dinner was a dinner party with family. I knew I needed to front load my calories and have an amazing breakfast and I made sure I snacked before going. It paid off. I was tempted by the treats and I induged myself in a teeny tiny piece of brownie that turned out to suck and I opted for fresh fruit and cool whip with angel food cake which tasted a hundred percent better. I actually saved the brownie until the very end and was disappointed.  I’m going to eat a very simple dinner now. It’s really proving that if I’m eating more and more healthily it’s amazing, I know it’s only like week one but I feel finally like I’m ona n eating plan I can maintain. Calorie counting is definitley for me. I have a friend who eats whatever she wants as long as it doesn’t go over her calorie limit. I’m trying to make better choices and I’m definitley coming out more satisfied. Even my husband agrees that this healthy food change has made a definite improvement in my affect. I’m in a good mood alot more often then I was on “junk” While I never ate truly junk, I think I starved myself on accident cause I thought it was what I was supposed to do. Also!! I read the rule that half of your plate should be vegetables it truly helps you feel fuller. The steam fresh bags are AMAZING!!

Also I’m going to continue measuring my food as I am truly surprised at the amount that is acceptable and the actual surving size.

One thing I want to invest in is a small scale. I know down the road I will become used to the serving sizes and probably won’t have to measure as much, but until then! I’m going to continue measuring.

I’m excited for tomorrow to see what it brings. I’m nervous also because on Sunday is our family reunion, and I also have to move down to the university for 5 weeks and live with a friend. I know it won’t be as easy to maintain my diet there with all the temptation.

I do enjoy an occasional drink, what alcohol has the lowest calorie content. Sounds like a search I’m going to need to make.

 

4.5 Miles

So I decided to take a 60 minute walk with my husband. I know it’s a little much for starting out. But I feel rather active anywho. I made it and I didn’t die. Although I noticed this odd phenomena near the end of the walk. See I don’t sweat. Never have, probably never will. Although after I got the tatoo on my foot, now my hands and my feet seem to…..weep. I dunno but while wlaking my hands felt like they were going to explode. Literally my fingers got very tight, I felt as though I couldn’t move them. I thought it was from being dependent for an hour. I also thought it’s cause I have bad circulation and I’m just not used to blood being in my hands and my heart was working to pump so it was actually getting to my hands. I dunno….Imma post it on the forum see if anyone else knows what I’m talking about, and I guess I’ll bring it up to my doctor. When I get a new one :|

I’m so proud of myself. That’s more then I’ve ever done!! I still want to do my typical 45 of wii fit tonight. I just think I might add a walk  3x a week??
