I slept in and then made a nice breakfast for the family!

1 1/2 scrambled eggs with red and yellow bell pepper, 2 slices bacon, avocado, and cheese. 1/2 of a grapefruit, grapes, and 1 Cup decaf with TBS. creamer

12:00pm

Grande decaf nonfat pumpkin spice latte

1:00pm

1/2 slice of whole wheat flat bread with mustard and egg salad, H20 and a little bit of organic mango juice, an oreo cookie (my MIL made a picnic lunch for us).

6:00pm

2 small corn tortillas with marinaded carne asada (I bought pre-marinaded from La Superior), couple of TBS. sour cream and mozz cheese, and habenero sauce. Small salad with cucumber and ranch, Last of my water for the day. Ugh!

I also had about 7 pieces of caramel throughout the day!

Exercise

Walk through the park with the kids and 10 minutes of stretching

Let me begin by saying weekends are more challenging for us…

9:30am

1/2 banana (just too busy), 24 oz water

12:00pm-Jaden’s soccer pizza party

salad with cucumber, egg, cheese, tomato, ranch, 1 slice veggie pizza, 1 slice pepperoni with olives, finished second 24 oz. water

(went to birthday party, but left before cake!)

4:30pm-IMAX

A lot of buttered and salted popcorn and a huge Sprite…yuck!

7:00pm

2 Salmon tacos with sour cream and tomatoes, 3rd 24 oz water

I have to pee every 1/2 hour!

Exercise

5 minutes of stretching and yoga in am

Snack-umm I think he had a tootsie roll at the birthday party, a few grapes, popcorn at the movie

I want to start logging my kids food so that I can make better choices for them also.

Breakfast (Dairy Preschool Day)-2 pieces of cheese, dixie cup of vanilla yogurt, 2 crackers with homemade butter (no salt, just cream), taste of cottage cheese, 2 dixie cups of organic milk, dixie cup of whipped cream (homemade) , 2 crackers with cream cheese-

Snack-Peanut butter playdough 1/3 cup, 4 strawberries, chocolate pudding

Lunch-Grapes, strawberries, peanut butter and jelly on whole wheat

Snack-Yogurt, 10 pistachios, mini bag of pretzels

Snack-1/2 red pear

Dinner-1/2 Salmon Steak, salad with tomato, ranch dressing

Dessert-1 Scoop of chocolate icecream on a sugar cone!

I have no idea what she had for breakfast (my sister made it for her), although I know she finished the cottage cheese

Lunch-A few crackers, organic raisins, 1/2 red pear, cucumber, strawberries, avocado, hard boiled egg, 1 C Organic Milk

Snack-Baked snap peas, pretzels

Dinner-Peas, whole wheat noodles with homemade butter (no salt), avocado, and ground turkey

Dessert-Few bites of soft serve vanilla icecream!

Bedtime-1C organic milk

Jaden’s eating habits leave a lot to be desired. He is a snacker and would keep me in the kitchen all day if I let him. He does not usually like big meals (unless it is a favorite). Lately, he has been trading in his graham crackers or string cheese for Cheetos with Conner at school. Today I could have given him a much bigger breakfast. It was overlooked since I was working.

Juliette loves to eat, but is already finicky. She does not like chicken, fish, and is on the fence about ground turkey. I keep forgetting to buy Tofu, which was Jaden’s favorite when he was young.

3/4 cucumber with 2 or 3 TBS. ranch, granola bar-organic 140 calories, 4 tortilla chips

couple pretzels (3), 10 pistachio nuts, 2 strawberries

7:00pm

1/2 salmon steak, salad with red bell pepper, cucumber, tomato, avocado, fresh parm, 1 TBS. ranch, 1/4 C brown rice with peas, finished another 30 oz. water

1 scoop of pralines and cream icecream, 10 oz more of water and counting!

2 shells, 1/4c refried beans (110 calories), 1C ground turkey, avocado slices, olives, 1/4 mozz cheese, habanero hot sauce, 2 Tbs. sour cream, and finished another 30oz water

Finished another 24oz of water!

Day 5

1 Cup granola (Go Lean Crunch), 1/2 Cup 1% milk. Is this cereal OK to eat? It tasted so sweet, and has quite a bit of brown sugar. I also had a few bites of an egg scramble with mushrooms, and bell pepper.

1/2 bag of mini pretzels (probably about 4 pretzels), 10 pistachio nuts, 3 slices of apple

1:00pm

2 Hawaiian rolls (200 calories), spicy brown mustard, leftover roasted chicken, 8 tortilla chips, 6 Tbs salsa

3:00pm

1/2 pear (red and delicious)

5:30pm

Taste of peanut butter playdough (experimenting for Friday), handful of candycorn

6:30pm

Tuna Casserole (whole wheat egg noodles, albacore tuna, green onions, apples, mayo, sour cream, mozz cheese, fresh tomato from my yard), salad with carrots and cucumbers, and tomatoes, 1 Tbs. of ranch (I know, but it was homemade)

Awesome bootcamp class with a lot of cardio! 24oz of water!

1/2 slice whole wheat English muffin, 2 slices bacon, 1 egg, 1 slice cheese My sister made us breakfast sandwiches. Mmm. I opted for an open face one to eliminate a few calories, but couldn’t resist the bacon!

1 slice whole wheat bread, 1 egg, 1Tbs. mayo, 1 Tbs. mustard, small salad with cucumber, bell pepper, and tomatoes. See Stacy it is before 7pm!

2:30pm

candy corn (can’t wait until the bag is gone!), choc. chip granola bar

handful of chips (harvest sun)

Roasted chicken with rosemary, basil, garlic, thyme, salt/pepper, 1/2 Tbs. butter, brocolli, salad with cucumber, tomato and freshly grated parm cheese.

I am planning to have some smart pop popcorn with the family (not kids) during our rainy day scary Halloween movie after the kids go to bed!

I have been journaling my eating on paper this week, but am ready to switch over after my horrible day today. Hopefully I will never eat as unhealthy as I did today.

9:30am

  • Leftover slice of pepperoniĀ  and olive pizza. Way to start off the day!

12:30pm

  • It still looked good so I made 2 more slices for lunch!

4:00pm

  • Grande decaf skinny vanilla latte. Yum!

7:00pm

In and Out Burger

  • Cheeseburger, 1/2 an order of fries, glass of water (at least I didn’t have soda too!)

9:00pm

  • 2 handfuls of candy corn. Couldn’t resist.

So, I do not usually eat this way. Like did I eat any fruits/veggies today? Did I eat anything remotely healthy? Olives and a slice of tomato…Yikes! I feel toxic and look forward to ridding my body of all of this junk! Maybe if I blog for the whole world to see, the humiliation will keep me from indulgences like today!
