Living Slim

Hello! Thanks for visiting my blog. I’m on a journey to living slim by focusing on health and fitness. I struggled with weight since my pre-teens. I had almost given up completely but decided to give it one last try. I made a commitment to myself and my goals and set out to learn all I could. Since making that commitment, I’ve become one “hot mama” (according to my friends) by leaving a lot of pounds behind. I feel and look better than I have in years, I sleep better and I can keep up with everyone. No more heavy breathing and wheezing from walking up a flight of stairs or down the block. No more waking up to numb and tingling hands because the fat is cutting off my circulation. Now I’m ready to take it to the next level. Join me?

  1. Hi, I just started HCG, and Lipotropic shots (Mica 126), I was googling to see if anyone has done either of them…How was Lipotropic shots for you? I find myself buying a wild stock of all sorts of pills and vitamins (including Vitabese, and Lipo BC which I have yet to receive). Honestly did Vitabese work for you? What was your experience on Lipotropics?

  2. Hi Becky. I liked the lipotropic shots — they didn’t work on their own but I saw a greater impact when using them along with a lower carb diet and daily exercise (walking). They also helped when I started to plateau and seemed to jumpstart my weight loss again. Vitabese did not work well for me but I also didn’t take it faithfully. I still have the pills and may try them again in the future.
    I tried HCG twice and only followed the plan for about 8-10 days each time. It definitely works if you have the willpower for it. Unfortunately, by the time I tried it I had been dieting for close to a year and I had just started exercising which made me hungrier than normal. For those reasons, I found it hard to follow the HCG plan. I really wish I had used it at the start of my weight loss as I think I would have lost faster and perhaps with longer lasting results (if you believe that HCG resets weight to a new set point). During the two times that I did follow the HCG plan, I lost about half a pound to one pound a day.
