Surviving
General April 29th, 2009Yes, yes… I know… i’ve been a terrible blogger lately. But really, there isn’t much to blog about. I’ve had crappy crappy runs (except for last night where I ran 2 miles). I don’t understand how I can have an awesome run one week and then barely be able to run a mile after that. Because seriously… that’s what happened. A few days after my three-miler… I couldn’t even run a mile. Same thing happened a few days later. Then yesterday… 2 miles easy. I don’t get it.
Food wise…. HA HA HA!!! Seriously, not sure what is going on with me. Except I’m over the whole cooking food and making food for everyone else and myself and I want someone to do it for ME just once but it still be healthy and yummy. Yes, I know… dream on, dream on.
I’m hovering right at 190, which is fine. I go +-2 from week to week. My 16’s are loose, some of my 14’s are just right, others are too tight still. Who knows.

Just hang in there, girl. Loose pants are a blessing, no matter what the scale says. I’ve been dealing with the same for about six months now.

Amen on the wishin’ someone else would cook. Actually, if someone else could just wipe the counters or put their own plate in the dishwasher, I would be happy. Oh well.
Yeah. Running is kicking my ass too. My best run so far this year has been three miles. I am not enjoying it like I did last year. Although I was inspired at the track meet that I went to today. So I am hoping I can locate my running mojo. Soon.

i found i had the same thing last week with the great runs and then the crappy ones. i started to notice slight differences, maybe it’s the same for you? Less water intake, so my body’s a bit dehydrated, food choices makin it hard to digest, and lack of sleep or even too much. idk, maybe it’s because i HATE running, but do it for the results that i find these little things mean so much for me. either way, stick to it doll, your constant pursuing will get you the results you’ve been working for.

I always wonder how people with lots of money gain weight. If I had tons of money, I’d hire an awesome chef and say, “I want good stuff to eat and if I gain weight, your butt will be in the unemployment line.”
As you say, dream on….dream on…..

Ive been reading complete guide to women’s running and it talks about not letting your body heal and things like that can make it seem like you can run much more at times than at others… Congrats on the loose pants! I am about the same size as you and have just started running… I am no where near 3 miles but can’t get there quick enough!!!
