How’s that for an alliteration. Anyway, it was time to up my distance today to 2 miles. I should have done it on Monday, but since my run was really crappy last Saturday, I stayed at 1.5 miles on Monday. So today was time for 2 miles. I didn’t want to go to the gym because I knew — KNEW — that I would never make it 2 miles on the treadmill. So I went to www.mapmyrun.com and mapped out a little 2 mile loop in the neighborhood. I started out this morning and I DID IT!! I had to walk at one point, but it was less than a minute so it doesn’t count. I also realized that I need to add more songs to my running playlist on my ipod. The songs I have, I have 1.5 songs left at 1.5 miles. For 2 miles, I had to start the playlist over again. Oh well. It seemed to take a long time, I didn’t feel like I was running very well. But I guess the point is I did it. I’ll do it again on Saturday.
