Escaped the ax again…
General November 14th, 2008Three more people in my department were let go yesterday. That brings the total people in my department to 2. It is getting scary. I keep wondering if I’m going to show up at work one day and the doors are going to be closed. I guess it’s time to polish up the resume and get it out there. Although there aren’t any jobs to be had so if it happens, I’m SOL.
But for now, I’ll be grateful that I have a job.

Hopefully that is all far as they can go with the lay offs. Seems like it must be down to bare bones at this point. Nervewracking to say the least.
Nope. No lentils for hubby-no-beans. The lentils were just a side dish and he does not take part.

Okay, no news is good news, so this is really good news, although it must really suck to watch all the people you work with pack up their stuff & go.
