So the damage is…
General November 10th, 20083 lb gain over the past 4 weeks. Not so bad considering. I’m not proud of it, but I’ll take it.
So I did make it to the gym today. YAY!! I jumped on the treadmill and went….. 1 MILE!! WOO! I was dying by the end, but I did it. I was only going to do a half mile, but was feeling okay so I kept going. Then I was going to stop at 3/4 mile, but a song came on my ipod that I put on strictly for the beat so I kept going. I figure if I start at a mile this week and work my way up a 1/2 mile every week, I’ll be at 2 1/2 - 3 miles by the time of the Reindeer Run (doesn’t it sound fun?!)
Of course, I didn’t help myself out by eating a small piece of pizza and some taco soup AND some ice cream cake among other things this evening. I am so stressed out with the unpacking and such. BLAGH!!!! One step at a time…..

WooHoo! I’m focusing on the treadmill and not the gain. It is temporary, after all and nobody can take back that exercise from you. Good for you on the Reindeer Run - way to inspire yourself! Repeat after me: One box at a time, one box at a time… LOL! Delita

delitaagain’s right…on both counts: focus on the positive stuff, the treadmill, the awesome motivation of the upcoming run, the no-doubt adorable T-shirt that accompanies the 5K…can’t wait to see it!
Can’t wait to see the house! You’re lucky you got the redecorating done before you moved in…feels like we’ll never make progress against the wallpaper demons we inherited with our new place.
