That is huge for me. I had taken my son to the kids thing at this church we’ve been going to the past 2 weeks. The church is around the corner from us and on the lake that the walking trail is on. Since hubby was home and I could leave the baby with him, I decided to walk down to the lake, run around and then back to where the church is and be there in time to pick my son up. The church is about halfway around the lake. So I walked briskly all the way down to the lake then started running as soon as I got there. I ran all the way to the turnaround spot (can’t go all the way around yet, but they are working on that) and then back to where the church is. Crossed the street and ran around through the parking lot to give me a little extra distance. Of course, my run outside is not that fast. I can run much faster on the treadmill, but when I run outside I feel like I’m in mud. Probably because the treadmill is doing the work for me. Anyway, I am happy I ran that far without stopping. They looked a little concerned when I walked in to get him. They probably thought I was going to pass out since i was dripping with sweat. No, hello.. this is how all runner’s look!! We walked back home, although we had to run a little because my son wanted to run. That lasted MAYBE 5 minutes before I put the kibosh on it. I was tired and my knees were hurting by that time. I have training session at the gym tomorrow. Ugh… I haven’t been up early at all this week. It’s going to kill me.
