Get your booty on the floor
June Goal June 13th, 2008That was my mantra last night. Get my booty on the floor!! After feeling blah all day, I decided to go ahead and go to the gym. I figured if I went and at least played one game, I might be in the mood to keep playing. So 10 minutes on the elliptical machine, 3 hours of volleyball and some weight machines later, I went home at 10:00. So much for getting to bed early. But it felt GOOD! And once I started playing I definitely wanted to keep playing. The skill level was great. From what my husband told me last week, I was a little nervous going in. I consider myself a fairly decent player but there are always those better than me. But I was fine. I shouldn’t have been nervous. My skillz were totally up to par!
Oh, and dinner last night ended up being a few peices of cantalope. I didn’t eat before I went to the gym, but had played so hard that I didn’t feel like eating anything heavy or hot when I got home. Plus, that sandwhich stuck with me a long time!! So I cut up a cantalope and ate a few pieces of that.
