Indoor vs Outdoor Running
Running June 10th, 2008I was wondering about this the other day and today I see an interesting article on MSN about it. If you are interested in reading the whole article, you can see it here.
Basically, it’s what has been mentioned here. Outside there is scenery, inside is tedious. Indoors is air conditioned, outdoors is not. I think that’s what keeps me going back to the treadmill. Running outside in Florida in the middle of the summer is not my idea of a good time. I think I’ll stick to the treadmill until mid fall when it cools down a tad.

Oh I soooo agree. When it is real hot (90’s-100’s) you might as well crawl in the oven to workout. I like to go out when it is nice and workout inside when it is horrid. I do not like though how fast i get bored on the treadmill though. How about you?
Have a wonderful day and keep up your hard work.

Yeah. Me too. Summer has roared in and the sun is showing who is boss. I hate it. We have high temps in the summer, not as bad as Florida though. But 96 for the beginning of June is just insane.
I agree on the second day of a new week. My opinion is that it is because it is not new at that point. Like on the first day of week 3, there is that huge “yeah, I am really doing this!”. But by the time day 2 rolls around it feels like less of an accomplishment and more of a chore sometimes.

LOLOL! I keep forgetting that some of you guys are waaaay down in the warmer temps! Our warm summer days here are probably like your warm winter ones! No way will you catch me exerting any energy whatsoever out in that smothering warm air! Give me fog any day over a heat wave…can’t believe I just said that as I’m not big on a month of fog at all
yes we get that some summers! Positively, do your running where your most comfortable!
