Welcome back to me. It’s been a while since I’ve posted in the forums and it’s been even longer since I’ve posted a blog.
So I’m starting my blog over again - I should’ve probably called it ‘2nd Last Chance’, but whatever.
I’m at university at the moment and I’m graduating in late January. It is the 21st of June now. According to my (probably incorrect) calculations, there are about 30 weeks until the end of January. Speaking in terms of university there are approximately 26 weeks of classes left - and I’m in week 1 at the moment. So 26-1 = 25. 25 weeks. So much can happen in 25 weeks, it’s insane. It is still over half a year.
So my aim is to lose 20kg is 25 weeks. That might be a lot to some, or not enough to others but I think it’s doable.
What this means?
So currently I weigh 120kg (on a bad day).
My aim is to be just under 100kg.
I do have a gym membership and am able to go 5 days a week. I have recently been doing this, but as soon as university started I’ve been stressed and binging and just feeling plain gross! Also there’s a cute guy there that I’m trying to avoid.
I also have a personal trainer. Someone who can weigh me weekly and every couple of weeks she measures me. She also chats to me about food and makes sure that the exercise I’m doing is beneficial to me.
Now, the biggest issue for me, and I’m sure a lot of people is FOOD. I’m obsessed with chocolate, chocolate milk, candy, fatty foods, salty foods, large portions and everything in between. I’ve developed some really bad habits over the past few years and it is going to take all of my will power to make sure I CAN STOP MYSELF.
Again, my plan, which I think is good in practice is basically eat healthy. Try to have 3 square meals a day and healthy snacks in-between. Balance my calorie intake between protein, vegetables, fruit and basically good things.
I don’t know if this will happen. But I’m going to try my hardest. I will weigh in every day, just to check that things are on track BUT I will have a main weigh in day, maybe a wednesday.
