I deleted all my old posts. I will probably regret it later, but I needed the clean slate. I can tell you this time though that this challenge with weight is never going away. And that’s why I deleted the prior posts. I was so focused on losing the weight, especially in a specific time frame…and a year and a half later I weighed more than ever before. This problem is not going away. I just have to take it one day at a time and hopefully next year I will weigh less. And the years will eventually add up to a thinner, healthier me.
So no calorie counting this time. That doesn’t mean I won’t use my brain to make choices. I know what I should eat and the portions. And this time my focus is on walking. Not running a lot or going to the gym all the time. Just walking. A lot of walking. Right now I’m averaging about four miles a day.

It’s going to be a slow process, because it’s a lifetime process.

So how am I doing so far….

May 2011: I weighed 238.0

Oct 12, 2011: I weighed 225.8; so moving in the right direction

And tomorrow is weigh in and I feel like it’s going to be a good outcome. I just knew I had to get back to blogging, because it helps me to express my thoughts to keep myself on track.
