Week 1 C25k Done! March 26, 2009
I finished week 1 of C25K yesterday and didn’t mind it one bit. I am at a total of 4.5 miles for the Slump Busters challenge and am going to need to go to my mom’s and use her bike for the rest of them. Tomorrow is work, taking the kids to Columbus, and coming straight back for girls night!!! Don’t think I’ll be getting any miles in then! I will start week 2 on Saturday.
I’ve been staying on track this week and it’s been exciting. I’ve had to talk myself out of many things. Believe me. Yesterday, the whole way home I thought about driving through McDonalds to get my son something to eat just so I could get some cookies. I hadn’t made my mind up until the very last minute and just turned to go home. After I worked out, I drank a protein shake. I brushed my teeth and washed my face after and that seemed to really help. So far so good and I’m still on track to get my chicken statue!!! Yeah!!! ![]()
