Slump Buster’s Week 5 Challenge April 5, 2009
Sorry it’s taken so long to post ladies!
As most of you may know, I had the pleasure of seeing NKOTB(New Kids on the Block to those of you lame enough not know, j/k) Friday night. It was FREAKING AWESOME! So this week’s Slump Buster’s Challenge has a New Kid’s kinda feel.
Alright ladies…it’s almost Summertime. Do you got the Right Stuff to get you through this week? Let’s see if you can Hang Tough and reach Cover Girl status. Here’s the plan:
-80oz H2O
-Clean eating based on your definition

You Tube yourself singing your fave NKOTB song….no camera, no problem. I’ll give you some digits and you can call and serenade me. No promises not to laugh! Also, if anyone wants to give their number out ,you have to call them too.
Ok, if you don’t get your water in or don’t have a clean eating day, you can add 30 minutes of activity to make up for it. Let’s make this a good week!!! I’m really not so sure I want to hear any of you sing!
I’m in, of course! I’m not sure what I’ll give up for the week but I’l figure it out. Good luck Ladies!
Hmmm. Here’s my deal: I am working on my running distance. So this is what I need to do - I need to divide the 275 by 16 (it takes me about 16 minutes to walk a mile). That is about 17 miles. So the way this would work best for me is that I commit to 17.2 miles. That way, it will push me to run them to get them done faster an in turn help me work on my distance. So as long as that is ok, I am in and I will be parking at the far end of the lot everywhere I go.
Omigod, NKOTB was the first concert I ever went to, at 8 years old with my sister and my parents- me and lil sis went KAHRAZY!! Joey was my favorite.

OMG - that is 55 minutes of exercise a day! 55 MINUTES PEOPLE!! I think I will be going to volleyball tonight instead of my husband just to get an extra hour in!
Hmmm..not sure what I’m going to give up. Perhaps I’ll give up making excuses on why I can’t exercise and just actually do it! Does that count?!
I abhor-ABHOR- NKOTB so I definitely do not want to lose this challenge. No offense to those that love them… I was just a tad to old to like them when they first started.
I’m in. Even though I wasn’t a NKOTB fan we saw a show this weekend about the best 1-hit wonders songs from the 80’s! I was mesmerized for hours.
When NKOTB was here I was ready to sell one of my kids to go. seriously.

Exercise change up will be going to a group class, any class, at the gym, which I never do. Obstacle to overcome will be NO FAST FOOD ALL WEEK even though I have depositions every day for the rest of this week. That, my friends, is going to be TOUCH. And sucky.
Okay. How about that is going to be TOUGH. And maybe touchy too? I am so lame.
