WOOOHOOOOOO Today (was) officially the last day of the APRIL CHALLENGE. Not all of the challengers have checked in yet with their stars though. I will be posting the official winners tomorrow night.
—————————————–
Yesterday my boys and I started some work at our house, work that involved some heavy lifting. Today we worked again, this time trimming the trees and bushes next to our driveway, which sounds like a relatively easy task but was more like taming a jungle. It took all three of us almost two hours to cut back the tangle of vines and branches, cut everything down into smaller pieces, load all the debris onto the back of the truck, and then cram it all into the dumpster at my work.
The reason we’re doing all this is because on Saturday we’re picking up an RV which we will be parking in our driveway for an unspecified period of time.
My brother bought this used RV several years ago with intentions of “fixing it up.” It’s been sitting at his friend’s house for quite a while now and finally he decided to offer it to us. I haven’t seen it so I have no idea what kind of shape it’s in, but my brother said that the engine runs fine, all it needs is “some work” on the interior.
It’ll be a project for us to work on, ha! As if we don’t have other projects which are yet unfinished. But heck, the price was right.
Because my evenings have been consumed with yard work, I haven’t been able to go play tennis again and I’m itching to go! I was telling one of my co-workers about having played tennis with Kevin and she wants to go tomorrow morning. I’ve already warned her that I’m not actually ready to play a game and she agreed that she wasn’t either, but that it would be fun to knock a ball around anyway. That’ll be fun!
Oh and by the way — thanks everyone, for all your kind and encouraging comments about the pictures I shared in the last post! I still don’t see that big of a difference even though I know I can definitely feel the difference!

wow it sounds like you are doing some major work on your yard. That is a great calorie burner.
DH and I have been talking about getting an RV in a year or so and using it for summer and maybe one day down the road using it for a whole year to see the USA. Ahhh I can dream
the RV will be a fun project to do with your sons and hubby.
can’t wait to hear how that goes. same with the tennis game, it’ll be nice to try to have a match, and get some fun exercise in. enjoy your weekend!

Hey Eileen,
It’s amazing to see the progress you’re making - your clothes in the second picture combined with your losses make you look like a new person!
I’d also like to ask a technical question if that’s ok! I was wondering how you can insert a picture into the sidebar? I asked on the forums bit no one is sure… Thank you if you can help me! And if not, thank you just for the inspiration

People keep telling me they see a difference and I don’t. I don’t even believe them. I think they are being kind LOL
I do feel a difference though and a few cool things like the collarbones and muscles are noticeable to me.
Came in looking for the April challenge winners. Most of the name have been moved so I couldn’t check on the site.
Tennis sounds like a fun new hobby until it gets too hot outside! Hope the RV turns out to be a great thing for you.
mango,
I posted an answer on your blog, but just in case you come here first…
How did I put a picture in the right column of my blog?
- I clicked in Site Admin and then clicked where it said the word “widgets”
- I added a text widget
- I created a little blurb of words (Welcome to my blog) and pictures (the couch and my website logo) in FrontPage, which I happen to have, and then I copied the HTML code into the text widget (manually since I couldn’t “paste” there).
- If you don’t have FrontPage or some other HTML program, here’s the code I used for mine, which you could copy for whatever words and/or pictures you wanted to add to yours:
I can’t post it here, so I created a webpage on my website with the wording from my widget:

Good luck!
