Wooohoooo!  As I expected, my weight dropped back down today!  Yeeeeeeehaaaa!!  I’m loving this!  I LOVE losing weight!  Love it love it love it!  Whoever woulda THOUGHT????!!!  Heehehehehe!!

Oh - and by the way - I GOT A RED STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Kevin and I went back to the tennis courts this evening!  We were gonna go there and just put in a half an hour.  He had a project to work on for school, so “Just a half an hour, that’s all.”  That’s what we said.  So we hit the ball back and forth and chased after wild ones and hit back-handed hard ones and lobbed high ones and tried to save low ones.  Both of us were drenched in sweat but still going strong when a couple came into the fenced area to play on the other court.  I said to Kevin, “Ya think it’s been 30 minutes?  Ya wanna go?” and he said yeah, probably, yeah let’s go.  So we gathered up all twelve balls and walked to the car.

I hadn’t worn a watch so I checked the time on my cell - ha!  We’d been playing for an hour!!  OMG that went by so fast!!!  It was a blast though - I really liked it!!  I asked Kevin tonight, “How often do you want to do this?”  He said, “As often as you want to.”  I said, “Really?  What if I want to do this every weeknight?”  He said, “I’d be good with that.”

Cool!!!

On the way home, we did discuss the fact that we aren’t actually playing a game.  We’re just hitting the ball back and forth and trying to keep it in play as long as we can.  I told Kevin that I’m not ready to actually play a game yet and he agreed that he wasn’t either.  Our plan is to hone our skills more before even attempting to insert rules and stuff.  I like that right now we can let the ball bounce twice if we want.  =D

Today I had my friend take new pictures of me.  It’s only been 10 lbs. since the last time but today I wore more form-fitting clothes.  Anyway, here they are:

    Yeah, I stopped weighing myself every day for a while back in the middle of last month, but I found out that I really do need that daily accountability! So I went back to daily weigh-ins. The fluctuations sometimes drive me nuts but at least I’m always aware of them!

    Good going on the tennis. I used to play a TON when I was younger. It was so much fun.

    Thanks for all of the comparison photos. You look great. You can see how you’re standing up straighter and your legs and arms are stronger. Everything is smaller and your skin looks healthy and glowing!

    Way to go on the red star! Awesome idea on the tennis playing. Who needs a game? What you’re doing is fun for both of you and excellent exercise. I’m so tickled that your teen son likes to do these things with you.

    look at your waist Eileen!! woohoo!!! your legs look smaller and more fit! You look great. I also love the blond hair!
    You motivate me to do more things with my family. I think its great that you are getting exercise and doing fun things with your family all at the same time.
    I miss the challenge. im not sure if I can start in May, because my computer charger is broken. maybe I will pick it up later in the month.
