Ohhhhhh, no ya don’t!  Your comment to my last blog entry sure did get my attention.  “I’ve been so bad food wise this month. Have put on 4 lbs already. So I need to do a reality chk right now. I think I’m going to give the April challenge a miss. I’ll still update and all. But May will be my month…”

Girlfriend, you are halfway through this month - that does NOT mean that the month is a total loss!  You have 16.5 stars right now.  I’m only FIVE stars ahead of you at 21.5 - which means that you and I are COMPETING against each other - and frankly - I NEED YOU THERE!!!  I need you to go ahead and TRY to BEAT ME in stars like you did last month!

C’mon.  You know you wanna.  All the cool kids are doing it.

Are you recognizing this?  It’s peer pressure!  =D  Is it working?  Heheheh.

Seriously, though, if you’ve been bad at food and gained some weight this month well that’s already in the past and you can’t undo it but you CAN change the REST of the month, yes you can!  Please please pretty please come kick my butt?

Well… you know… give it your best shot anyway.  ;o)

 

LOL edited to add:  I just went and read your (Goodlife’s) blog entry from yesterday - HA!!  You’re already up against THREE challenges and I just challenged you to yet another!!  I tell ya what that peer pressure is a powerful thing!!!  =D

Also - did anyone else watch The Biggest Loser last night?  OMG I bawled like a baby when Mike’s brother was crying because “Now I’m the only big one.”  I know just how he feels and THANK GOD we can ALL do something about it!!!

I’m really hoping Mike wins because I just love that boy.  Er… young man.  <3  <3

    Yeah really I mean I think I have 15.5 stars and I’m actually trying! lol. BOO… At least there is another star for today AND I’m gonna work out tomorrow I tell ya :p

    You know the challenge is just a tool to try to keep you on the right path. It was fun when I was in first place for a fleeting moment. The challenge has made me do that extra 15 minutes and has made me NOT drink that second Coke because I only allow myself one a day. If I’m halfway through the day and still good on food, it helps me reconsider messing it up just for the SAKE of a virtual star. I took a walk the other day and came back 7 minutes shy of the hour. I could’ve “called” it an hour and no one would know, but I would and I didn’t want to cheat myself so I found another way to get that 7 minutes in by going to the gym and doing 37 minutes on the treadmill. I did the challenge last month even though I didn’t really try to do anything until mid month because I had a trip that interfered with being on plan. Ultimately , to me, it’s not about how well I do, but a way of keeping track and being inspired. Hope this helps!

    Hey there. I had cauliflower mashed potatoes yesterday and didn’t even know it! It was in one of my meals that I bought - shepherd’s pie. When I logged the calories at the end of the day, I read the description and it said cauliflower mashed potatoes. Whoooda thunk? I thought it was real! Well I made up for it at dinner, where I ate a shitton of real sweet potato FRIES. With ketchup. I suck.
