Eileen - Day #266 - Sunday
Daily intake goals:: 20-35g carbs / 1200-1700 calories / 64+ oz. water
Total net carb grams Sunday: 23.3 calories: 1241

Okay I realllllly messed up on Saturday food-wise. I thought maybe I could switch to calorie-counting so I got up that morning and ate a healthy low-calorie breakfast which consisted of so many lovely low-calorie carbs! Not even 90 minutes later, though, I felt hungry. By the two-hour-mark, I was ravenous. I gave into my hunger/cravings and ate a big ol’ apple fritter, coated with sugar. From there the day went steadily downhill. I’d already screwed up, right, so I proceeded to eat bad stuff until that night.
That night I barely slept! Apparently my body is not used to all that junk anymore because I was in the bathroom all night. It was unpleasant enough to convince me that I really need to stay on the low-carb. When I stay low-carb I don’t crave junk - period. I stay away from it with really no willpower at all.
So I will go back to doing both - carb and calorie counting. *Sigh*
BUT!!! I will step up the exercise because…
THE APRIL CHALLENGE IS STARTING IN JUST TWO DAYS!

I figured out a buncha stuff on the website last night! My poor hubby was sitting in the same room with me, listening as I grumbled and moaned and made funny noises because I couldn’t figure something out and then he laughed at me when I would cheer and get up to do little happy-dances when I finally got something to work. LOL!!
Anyway, here’s some of the stuff I did:
- I got the Daily Stars table on the Personal Page to automatically sort by date.
- I got the Group Stars table to sort by stars so the leader is automatically at the top!!
- I got the Group Chatter table to sort in descending order so that most recent comments appear first! (obviously the whole sorting thing was a needed skill!!)
- I figured out how to post TOTALS for the Daily Stars table on the Personal Page!! YAY!!
- I added two new tables to the Group Page (at inkheartmeg’s suggestion, thank you meg!), one for everyone’s daily food goals (sorted by the person) and one for everyone’s daily star input (sorted by date so the newest appear first).
Now I’m trying to figure out how to automate the STARS table so that the stars graphics come up automatically for each person based upon their input into the Daily Stars table. I’m hoping maybe whitters can help me with that - she is a PHP programmer and offered to help me! (OH YAY!!). It is amazing how quickly our bodies adapt to healthy eating and throw a fit when we stray. Hopefully you listen to your body more than I listen to mine.
I’m going to try to add my own stars, wish me luck. If for some reason I don’t figure it out I’ll have you add them.
Yay, I figured it out. Do I need to do anything to enroll in the April challenge or is it already set up?

Unfortunately at this time I don’t have a way for a person to be a part of more than one group at a time. As soon as you’re done posting March stars, I can switch you over to April. =D
here I am again catching up. work’s been busy. im not sure if i should even be putting my stars on your blog anymore, but just in case….friday I get 1 star for food, saturday, I get 2 stars for food, and an hour of exercise, sunday I get 1 star for food, and today monday the 30th, i get 1 star for food. gotta go catch up on the blogs
awesome changes! I left a couple comments in the group chatter about what I noticed was new but I hadn’t scrolled down past the group chatter and noticed the group daily stars and food goals. thank you so much for all the great changes. Congrats to you for figuring it out!!

I can see I’m behind. You are soooo clever with all of this. I tried to login at the W8callenge site but didn’t know what to put for nickname and password.
I’ll just update for Friday 3/27 through Monday 3/30 and see if I can figure out the other site for today so I can do it myself.
Please give me 6 exercise stars and four staying under goal intake goal - 10 altogether. I’d like to do the April challenge.
OK - I have a grip now. I looked back, got myself logged in and I’m so there LOL! Forget what I said above on the update, I’ll update at the W8 challenge site and figure out what the group page is… and it shows me how far behind I am… but since I track my food and exercise I’ll just look back. I do want to do the April challenge though. I’ll hope that my password etc will be the same. Thanks for all you’ve done.
