————————————————————————————–

Crap, crap, crap.  Here I am, back up at 236 again (and below the 50-lb mark again).  Crap.  S’okay, I’m not worried about it, it’ll come back off, I’m sure it’s water.  It’s certainly not a digestive delay because I haven’t had any problems in that department.  I know, TMI - but in this realm (the weightloss realm), it’s a very relevant statement to make.  =)

I was a little sore after last night’s foray into light lifting.  My arms were sore but it was weird, the most sore part of me was right in the middle of my chest, like over my breast bone.  I kept feeling like almost a charley-horse kind of twinge there but this morning when I woke up it was gone.  So that’s good.  I ate a late dinner tonight so I’m going to wait an hour (until 10pm) to do my 30 minutes on the elliptical.  I should be feeling not-so-full by then -and- I can watch Life on Mars while I work up a sweat.  It’s silly but I like that show.  It kinda reminds me of Journeyman, which was on last season but it got cut because of the writer’s strike.  Only that show (Journeyman) had Kevin McKidd.  *Sigh*  He’s my heartthrob.  I’m so happy that he’s on Grey’s Anatomy now.

I’ll go find a nice picture of Kevin, so y’all can see who I’m talking about.
Okay, I’m back.  Here ya go:

Kevin McKidd

He has the most wonderful Scottish accent (though he doesn’t let it out on GA).

Yep, that’s all the candy I need.  Eye-candy!  =D

Oh - one more thing - I’m so happy that The Amazing Race is starting up again this Sunday!  For TAR fans, the “Meet the New Teams” videos are now available for viewing!  Check ‘em out!

Just think, Eileen, someday we’ll all be blogging on the “Three Skinny Chicks” site.

I’m sure you’ll be nipping under the 50 mark in a day or two. Love that non-fattening “candy” you have pictured there!

I really think you are on the right track with your weight lifting. Power to ya!

My weight is bouncing like that too. My theory is that the weather and humidity is effecting the scale. LOL!

Light lifting?! Whatchoo talkin’ about Willis? You’re working very very hard! I think when my trainer started with me I was doing 5 and 8 lb dumbbells - you’re rocking the 10’s! That’s tough! And Iron Crosses too. My goodness.

I don’t know who that skinny guy is, but he’s not bad looking. ;) I’m more into big beefcake men myself. But an accent will get me everytime.

For it being only one day, I doubt it’s your fault. I bet it’s water. Or maybe you are wearing slightly different clothes or weighing yourself at a different time of day? All those things matter more than you realize. Plus, if you’re doing weights then there’s a great chance it could just be the weight in muscle instead of fat.

I agree that is probaly water and weather. You will drop it off soon. Good job with the weights!
