Day #109- Hoteling it.

Starting weight (7/15/08):    279.8    (1/8/08):    285.2

 40 min. elliptical

I’m in a hotel again.  Got up this morning at 5:30 (ughh that was hard) and traveled by car to an event in a rural town 2 hours away.  I had made arrangements to stay overnight here in the one and only hotel (spelled with an h rather than an m, lol) in town and yeeeehaw it’s a Holiday Inn Express - meaning that it has a gym!  After dinner I went downstairs and put in 30 minutes on the elliptical (and I do mean “the” elliptical because there was only ONE lol).  My feet were numb (happens on the elliptical, not sure why) but the rest of me felt okay so I decided to do 30 minutes on the exercise bike.  Ha!  I only lasted 10 minutes because the seat was - uh - broken I guess because it was - uh - well - let’s just say my girly parts were being assaulted.  I had to stop!

How funny!  If you had told me a year ago that I would be worried about whether my hotel had a gym or not, I woulda rolled on the floor laughing!

I forgot to bring my scale.  This is only an overnight trip, so I guess I’ll live.  But I do like to weigh in every morning!  There’s a scale downstairs in the gym but I think the hotel management staff might not like it so well if I strip down in the gym to weigh myself.  =D
