I had another one of those can’t-believe-it moments this morning with the scale… another half a pound! This is so exciting for me that I’m starting to really get nervous… when is the other shoe gonna drop? Like I’m afraid tomorrow morning I’m gonna wake up to like a ten-pound gain.
I was feeling really good this morning, first the weigh-in and then the jeans! I put on a pair of jeans today that I haven’t worn in more than a year! I tried them on just a few weeks ago and they were still too small for me to even get up over my hips. This morning they just slid right on — even the zipper and button! I did a little jig in the middle of my bedroom floor.
After lunch I was feeling strong and energetic so I plugged in the Xbox and did the DDR thing for about a half-hour. Then this evening I went back to it, intending to put in another full hour — and I twisted something in my left knee. It hurt a little but I kept going, thinking it would work itself out but then I got a *big* ouch so I walked away. I thought maybe I could walk it out, but every few steps I got this stabbing pain in my knee — so I shut the game off.
I sat for a while tonight with an ice-pack on my knee and it helped a little but now I have this horrible crunch/pop thing happening whenever I bend my knee. And every third or fourth step I get the ice-pick-pain.
Not good.
I had the car accident last winter that hurt my knee and it took me months to recover. This is that same knee and so I’m so upset! I need my knee to be okay so I can exercise!!!!!

Yikes Eileen! Be careful with that knee. I know how scary it is to feel like there might be damage that will interfere with your fitness plans. Maybe you could continue DDR with just some upper body movements in the meantime. Hopefully that knee will be better in no time!
Ohhh I hope that it is okay. You might want to baby that knee for a while.
Good job on the weigh in and GREAT job on fitting into the jeans! You are dong great.
