Funny, I almost mis-typed that title as “I’ve Learned to be Satisfied with Success.” But that is not it. I really have “learned to be satisfied with progress.”

After that last weigh in, I realized I don’t have any solid interim goals between here and the last 100 pounds. I work better if the goal I am working on is in sight, seeing distance so to speak. So, drumroll…
My new goal is 225 pounds. That still sounds like a lot (and is), but [...]
It’s that first step that gets you. Sure, many of us don’t finish what we start. But an even bigger problem is we seldom start the very things we most want to finish.

Before reaching my top weight of 300 pounds I had been eating *off* and drinking sodas (my nemesis) steadily for a while. I had gotten so heavy I would park illegally rather than walk a half mile.
