		<description>I spent some time with my sister this summer and she lost about 100 pounds (she won't really say)  three years ago by eating the good stuff (veggies, fruit, lots of grains) and making herself become active. Even though she was in a bad accident last year and  has been off work since she has kept as active as possible and not lost her taste for better food choices. It is about focus and finding joy in the here and now.</description>

So good to see you pop up here.  Many of the regulars have disappeared so it's nice to see a friendly face.

My challenge sounds strange but it's to go slightly off-plan w/o completely throw in the towel.  The weeks surrounding the beginning of the school year are so chaotic that I know I can't/won't be 100% on plan but that doesn't mean I should be 100% gluttonous (is that a word)?

But, I had a trainer who said "you can't out run a bad diet" so my challenge is my keeping my food under 1600 calories per day and staying hydrated by drinking a minimum of 128 ounces of water. Seems simple. But I've found if I put too many parameters (like how much carb/fat/protein), I give myself "permission" to go off plan since I already blew it.</description>

What an inspiration!  Makes me want to get down to the nitty gritty and get it done!  I'm going to Hawaii next summer and I'd love to be in a nice bathing suit giving everybody a blue moon! (Reference to my "Blue Moon" post)

My challenge is going to be to get on the straight and narrow and battle to stay there every day!  School is full of pizzas and potlucks and long hours that leave me exhausted and not feeling like working out.

Every Day.  That's the challenge.</description>
