More Eating and RVing

Posted by: delitaagain In: New Me

The pic is Joy, my RV, parked in front of a friend’s house with our fast melting snow.

Today for lunch I had a Walmart store brand chicken patty on a (supposedly) whole grain bun with a bit of sharp cheddar, mayo and a few cubes of pickled jalapeno, plus one of the hot tomato drinks (see below). I’ll have some leftover fish stew for dinner (see yesterday).

In answer to Sandi’s question, the fish used is canned Mackeral. It was good, cheap and convenient, but I’m glad I’m traveling alone as Joy still smells like fish. =p

Play along: Which is more important to you: taste or nutrition?

Wow, there’s no hesitating about that answer, TASTE! Nutrition is important, but if it tastes like cardboard, there aren’t any spices in the world that could fix that!
I love your ‘meals on wheels’ baby Joy! She looks bigger than I thought. Is it easy to maneuver around?

Oh that’s a hard one! I guess taste is more important but then again that doesn’t mean I’m going to eat unhealthy just cuz it tastes good :)

gonnabe - okay, taste. Well, I know I go for taste but cravings are more of an issue - I go for what I crave even if the taste is just *okay.* BUT. Having had to change my eating at times just to stay alive I will admit that I have learned that nutrition (or, staying alive and healthy) is more important to me than taste. I will do supplements and even foods that are not good or even are bad tasting, just to get what I need. Very interesting. Thanks for playing, al!
