My current food desire is to make some soup. I’m thinking of using the Cabbage Fat-burning Soup recipe from allrecipes.com – mainly just because I like vegetables – and adding ground turkey for protein, maybe even a little turkey sausage for flavor. I would also add some fresh chopped kale or parsley.
As you can see, I’m not counting calories!
I really like soup, especially in winter, and don’t mind eating the same thing once a day for days. Plus, I can freeze some.
Next, I would like to think up several different garnishes or things I could drop in at the last minute to make it *different* each time. Maybe a little grated romano or parmesan cheese, a couple ounces of leftover grilled fish, or, just a nice, fresh chopped scallion or two for a treat.
