Weigh-in: Week 27, Back on Track!

Posted by: delitaagain In: Weigh-In!!

WooHoo! I do post a loss this week, 3.2 pounds! Part of this must be what I *should* have shown last week.

The week was not perfect, I ate wheat three times and peanut butter pie three times and some other snackie type things, but generally (believe it or not) got back on the kinds of foods I do need to eat.

The is a total loss if 64.8 pounds, 46.6 pounds in 27 weeks. The three week average loss is 1.73 and the nine week average is 1.11. I’ve lost over 20 pounds since coming to Colorado, 3 months ago next week.

This week I’m going to focus on getting the foods I need while eliminating more of the snacks. What is your focus this week?

Wow - that is fantastic. I just gained a pound from reading that you ate peanut butter pie!

My focus this week: to NOT eat my way through NYC and have to buy new pants for the flight home!

Wow!! Congratulations on your weight loss! You’re an inspiration for sure. Especially for sticking to your diet for so long is to me admirable.

My focus is on getting my calorie intake from more nutritious foods.

Hey Delita - What can I say differently than previous posts? All I can think of is ‘this is your time to shine’! 20 pounds in 3 months, I’m telling you it’s the altitude, LOL! Good for you. Sandi

LOL Firefly, that eating through NY has to be tough, too - it is easy to say yes when it is *special* foods you don’t usually get. Maybe half portions? I dunno! Hope you make it home with your (same) pants on! Delita

Marian, sounds like a great focus. That is something I seldom do. Usually, if it is on my plate, I eat it. Maybe I need to practice, too. Yea for you on the gym! Delita

grabthebull, exactly right on, I’m thinking. Do get better please! I did consciously start eating less once I quit exercising, so I’m sure that worked for me since I kept losing. WTG! Delita

Oh my, you mentioned my kryptonite - PEANUT BUTTER PIE! I forgot about it. Now it will be in my mind until I have a taste. Luckily for me (I guess), there is a pie shop down the street. My son and I will have an after school date there very soon.

My focus this week will be forgetting that I read the words ‘peanut butter pie’.

Congrats on your great work.

ah, sterling! I so apologize. When I wrote that I remembered that in Overeaters Anonymous they avoid mentioning specific foods that can trigger someone. I know I wouldn’t enjoy having my blog reading habit trigger me! I believe I will change my wicked ways. I sure hope your foray into tasting works well for you! Delita

tristan, hi! Thanks for stopping by! I’m very excited, grateful ad somewhat amazed that I am *still going.* I like your focus. When I started eating nutritionally power-packed foods (and got off trigger foods) I found I was able to do much better in every area. Yea for you! Delita

No problem really! I love being dramatic and I just tend to fantasize about things - honestly I’ve never gone off the deep end since starting this journey and I don’t plan on starting now! One taste would suffice and cause no harm at all.
