Inspiration: Paleo Diet - So Easy a Caveman Can Do It!

Posted by: delitaagain In: Motivation

This may be the most important post I’ve ever posted. Please check out: A Paleo Diet Diary by a fifty-something man with type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and high triglycerides who used Paleo eating and exercise to turn his health around.

paleoeater.blogspot.com

He blogged for only one year and then left the blog up for info and inspiration. ALL his health conditions had long since returned to normal before his one-year Paleo experiment ended.

This is an amazing story of one person’s search for what difference eating and exercising could make in the diseases we are told will always be with us. Through simple experimentation he *cured* himself and discovered a life even better than dreamed was available for the price of a little attention where it mattered. I want to be that healthy, feel that good. Simple but profound. Oh, and he lost weight.

And let me know what you think, please.

Hey Delita - thanks for this post, I read his final blog and the Paleo diet was a good choice for him. I don’t think it is for me because of meats. I’m not crazy about eating meat, not a vegetarian issue, I just don’t like chewing tough meats. If a steak doesn’t melt in my mouth, I won’t eat it. I don’t like fish, except for shellfish. So, how much chicken can I eat. It doesn’t sound good for me. The low glycemic index program has choices I like and I can have grains as long as they are the low index.
That’s why we have to find the right fit that works for ourselves. I still like the idea of MUFA’s in the diet.
I’m happy to hear you’ve lost a foot off your waist (sounds like a wrestling move). I am excited for you!!! Talk to you soon - Sandi

I have bookmarked it so I can go back and read more as time allows. It looks like a good one, that would’ve been fun to follow. Thanks for a great share.
