Weigh In: Week 9!!! More Milestones!!

Weigh in today was 261.8, down one pound. I’m really happy with that because:

1) I had trouble eating as many calories as I had set for a goal (2400), so this means my body is willing to lose on a lower number.

2) The last two days, I only ate two meals per day (bad) both meals yesterday I ate high fat (high saturated fat) and thought that might make a difference.

Maybe it did make a difference, but this is sure going the right direction.

Also, I passed TWO milestones this week:

1) I passed the 25% of goal lost mark. My target is to lose 150 pounds, so 37.5 pounds is 25% of that. I’m now down 38.2 pounds YEA!!!!!!

2) I dropped from the *morbidly obese* BMI category into the *severely obese* category. YEA!!!!!!! At my top weight, 300 pounds, my BMI was 45.6 and today is 39.8.

So HAPPY!!! I was reminded today to get my focus back on my monthly goals. I think I’ll add weekly focus goals as well. More about that later.

Hi Delita! I thought I’d follow you over here instead of the FlatBellyDiet pages. I just have to say that you a hilarious! I love you and I don’t even know you!!…lol… I loved your revised rendition of “Happy Birthday.” It’s so great!! Keep up the great work, you are definitely an inspiration to me. God bless your goals!!

Congratulations! That is so cool that you’ve passed the 25% mark… I hadn’t even thought to figure out when that particular milestone is for me! I’ll have to do that!

I’m watching my BMI creep downward in the 40’s too… But it’s still gonna be a while until I get down to 39-point-something. (I’m assuming I’m shorter than you.) YAYYYYY very cool to see that you’re there!!!

Jen!!! So great to *see* you! Thanks for coming over here. How are you my diet buddy friend? I started this blog at the same time as the Flat Belly Diet, knowing my efforts on that diet would be short term compared to the long haul of taking off all the overweight, and, the support here on 3fc is the best! Hey, Mel! Great to see you! I know what you mean about needing to set goals and journal. I find those two of my most important tools. Having a support group is maybe my 2nd best tool, and having a plan that works is probably number 1. So great to see you here again! Please let me know how it is going for you! Delita

Eileen - yes, thanks for noticing. That is a big milestone. The next milestone I have is watching that middle digit *6* change to a *5*, and then - heading for 250, which will be 1/3 of my goal lost. I’m really learning to focus on the short term goals. In fact, I need to blog about that! LOL So great to *see* you! Thanks for the note and encouragement. It helps so much! Delita
