The Top Two “Leading Health Indicators” are…

1) Physical Activity
2) Overweight and Obesity 

From Healthy People 2010, a U.S. government initiative that challenges “individuals, communities, and professionals indeed, all of us to take specific steps to ensure that good health, as well as long life, are enjoyed by all.”

Apparently this is an upper level thing that  may or may not be trickling down to the likes of us. ;-)

My personal goal is to be at goal, fit and whole by my birthday, 2010. I’ll be sixty years old and more than I ever thought I could be phyrsically.

So glad we’re tackling the top two, here on 3 Fat chicks!

I don’t know where I will be in 2010 but I hope to be weight wise at least where I am now ( ok a bit lower would be nice but lol this is good to), physically stronger and mentally stronger. I hope to always be better tomorrow then I was today.

In 2010? Hmmmm……I’ll probably have a real battle going on as it will be my daughter’s first year away at college.

I already feel a hundred percent better than I did a year ago and I want to be below 130 and maintaining it by 2010. I also want to be able to exercise without hurting!

I WILL be at my goal weight (somewhere around 140-150) and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I will figure out how to eat normal food instead of relying on frozen meals and I will also learn how to take a day-off from working out w/o losing control of what I eat. Gee, I have a lot of control issues, don’t I?

I think I will be pregnant!

I want to lose weight so I can do that. So that is my goal for 2010.

I am already a lot more concious than I was a few years ago.

I am ready for 2010
