Search for a New Mini-Goal - HELP PLEASE!

Posted by: delitaagain In: Goals

I’ve successfully completed mini-goal #1: to complete 7 days on the Flat Belly Diet by the end of August.

I’ve successfully completed mini-goal #2: to complete the 28-day plan on the Flat Belly Diet

Now I’m drawing a blank. Please help me out by suggesting or voting for a new mini-goal. I need a target! LOL

Thanks in advance to all who participate! I really do need help. =/

hmmm…This is a tough one. I’m not sure anyone else can help you with this because it’s such an individual thing. I think you should figure out where you want to go and then figure out the mini goals you need to get there.

I started out last April with mini goals of 5 pounds every two weeks and long term goals that would reflect those results. That is, a loss of 60 pounds over 6 months. It didn’t take me long to realize that was totally unrealistic. Now, I’m just trying to go for a really healthy way of living and, hopefully, another 15 pounds by Christmas.

Considering your last post, what about making goals about the size of clothes you want to fit into. Setting goals of a manicure and pedicure when you lose ten pounds, or a new hairstyle? Maybe a goal to get a totally “put together” outfit when you lose twenty more?

I’m with Patty. Picking goals is quite personal. It can be a bad habit you want to kick. A calorie level you want to stick to. An exercise goal would be good as well.

Oops - I meant to add that in the end I tend to make daily goals (water, food, exercise) and try and hit them as often as possible. For quite a while none have been a big problem, although occasionally I will skip exercise sessions (trying to listen to my body).
