Weigh In: 3 Weeks and 11 Pounds

Posted by: delitaagain In: Weigh-In!!

Last week when I weighed in I had a *huge* loss that had to be mostly water weight. I bounced back up the next day and then all week I’ve been heading down and down, ending up .4 above where I was last week - but I believe this is a true weight reflecting a true loss of 11 pounds in 3 weeks.

I’m still sticking to the 2 inches lost on my waist in the first week.

After today, I have 10 days to go on the 28 day plan. I usually don’t set weightloss goals for a specific time period, but did on this one. My mini-goal was 11.2 pounds in 32 days (4-day jump start plus 28 day program). Sitting at 11 pounds down after 21 days feels great!

I’d like to set another mini-goal now. Not weight, but waist inches. I’d like to lose another inch from my waist in this last 11 days.

Overall, I think I’m doing great. I need to lose .2 pound to get back to all my milestones I celebrated last week, but who couldn’t love 11 pounds in 3 weeks and feeling GREAT! I’m even enjoying being back to exercising.

Gotta go - I’m gonna eat salmon for lunch, then take a hike at the state park and swim in the lake. If I have time I’ll stop by Barnes & Nobles for a read and a banana chocolate Vivanno for my snack today before heading to prayer tonight.

This life! What’s not to like?? LOL That’s what I love about eating right and getting fit - I get a life! =)

Hi Delita - I love your posts! You have a true gift for writing that’s not boring. You are so close to your 32 day goal, I think you’ll lose more than anticipated! I believe the waist inches will go down with the exercise part. I did enjoy the 5 minute dancing I did after meals, the muscle pull is hindering me from anything strenuous or even less. Anyway, have a great labor Day! ~~~ Sandi

Thanks, Sandi! That is very kind! I love the idea of dancing after meals. I always did like dancing and was thinking today that I may make taking a dance class my reward for reaching 200 pounds. I’m so glad you don’t mind stopping by my blog and appreciate you reading it. It is so much easier for me to respond to you here than in email. Does this mean I’m lazy?? Does it work for you? Thanks again, Delita
