Favorite Menu: Yogurt & CHOCOLATE!!

Posted by: delitaagain In: Menus

My first Flat Belly dessert. I knew that chocolate was a MUFA (moly-unsaturated fat), usable at any meal, but just hadn’t gotten around to buying any or choosing a menu with it.

Then, today, I did buy some: bulk dark chocolate chips sweetened with cane at Whole Foods.

Eating my unplanned meal, I realized I hadn’t added my MUFA, and thought I needed more calories (that’s what failure to plan will do). I had also brought home some fresh raspberries that were *fixin’* to turn, if you know what I mean.

So, here is my dessert, which could actually serve as a snack or breakfast meal on the Flat Belly Diet. (Actually, all meals are interchangeable on this plan.) I LOVED IT!!!

3/4 cup fat free yogurt,
3/4 cup raspberries,
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

Layered just like that. Yum! So simple and so good, and so BIG! This I will definitely do again. I could have actually increased the yogurt to a cup. This would work equally well for a snack or a breakfast.

Hi Delita - Well I made it here to let you know! Sounds like you had a good day. I did look into Transitions Weight Management System like I said I would, and I’ll join on the website (costs less than FBD) on Monday the 1st. I emailed with some certified coaches and got some info. There aren’t any coaches in my area to go to a meeting (I’d rather work with a website on my time anyway). As it turns out, I could form a group and have people come to my house while having a web meeting with someone I already know who is a certified coach! I’ll get with the program first, before I go that route. Anyway, this snack of yours sounds delicious. I wish there was a Whole Foods or a Trader Joe’s near me, I like both of those and I shopped them when I lived in the northern part of NJ (before 2004). I’ll check back here from time to time to check your posts. Good luck - your FBD buddy, Sandi
