Menu Today - Puffed Brown Rice Cereal, Yogurt, Rainbow Trout w/ Rice Mix and Peas & Dessert! plus SNACK

I really did it today. I started the day with too few calories, then ate my snack in lieu of lunch because I had it with me. By the time I next ate a real meal, I didn’t eat what I planned and just winged it, to the tune of 900+ calories (these are supposed to be 400 each for 4 meals).
Then, not knowing how much I had gone over, I had for my 4th meal, a snack, again winging it - no plan.
It was okay. The funny part is, all added up, it is one of the best totals I have had in all categories. I even finally got my carbs count up, barely going over on calories and not at all on fats. Who knew?? Lesson learned: winging it is dangerous but not always disastrous. The dessert was awesome! I’ll post the recipe.
Breakfast: 1 small orange, 1 cup gluten-free puffed brown rice, 3/4 cup Lactaid fat free milk, 2 tbsp. cashews
Snack: 3/4 cup fat free plain yogurt, small orange, 2 tbsp. almonds
Lunch: pan-grilled rainbow trout fillet, 1/4 cup Pace picante sauce, 1 cup wild/brown rice mix, 1 cup frozen peas, 3/4 cup fat free yogurt, 3/4 cup raspberries, 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Dinner: 2 oz. deli smoked turkey, 8 brown rice cheddar crackers, 2 tbsp. pine nuts
In addition to the meals you see here, I’m drinking 2 liters of Sassy water a day.
