I like the 4 week warm-up "just doing what I can do" approach. Clever, and gets you into the right kind of mindset without the "all or nothing" thinking that sabatoges so many diet attempts.

I moved to a "regular exercise" mindset last year and it made a world of difference for me. My goal is 3-4 times a week, and it's been great and regularly achieved. I used to be an "every day" or "not at all" kind of person but there were far too many "not at all" periods & it's so easy to fall off when the goal is daily (and then I would be back at "not at all". Now the goal has evolved from "more days than not when I'm home" (I travel a lot for work) to now "most days when I'm home)

Wow, I'm excited to see what "Insanity" is really like. I just watched the infomercial the other day, yikes!

Hopefully, though, you'll find it's not as bad as you think. I just started P90X after years (yes, years) of waiting to lose a bit more weight to be more fit. I finally bit the bullet and realized that I'd do what I could and improve a bit each time. It hasn't been that bad and after 2 weeks I can already tell that I'm getting stronger.

Can't wait to read more and I look forward to celebrating your success :)
