Just a day

Went to my parents tonight for dinner.  My mother is making a huge effort to have “me” friendly foods and that feels very good.  We had roast beef, mashed potato’s, carrots and gravy.  I had controlled portions of each (2 slices beef, 1/2 cup potato’s, 1 cup carrots, 1/4 cup gravy) and I felt good afterwards.  There was also rolls (my downfall), cheese, pea’s and a veggie plate.  I did have three pieces of cauliflower ;)  I ate, I was done and I helped clean up.  It feels SO GOOD to be in control at all times.

I’m left tonight having to have two snacks though.  I FORGOT to eat my afternoon one!  So I’ll have that tonight in about another hour and a half.  Menu plan is done for tomorrow

Day 59 totally on plan!!!!

B- 1 slice toasted sunflower rye bread, 1 T pb, 1 banana
s- fruit source fruit/veggie bar (3 servings of fruits and veggies!) 1/2 cup skim milk
L- 1/2 cup kashi go lean, 1/2 cup blueberries, 1/2 cup strawberries, 1 yogurt, 1/4 cup almonds
s- clemetine, 2 hard boiled eggs
D- mini pizzas on multigrain english muffins: 2 halfs of muffin, 2 T tomato paste, 2 slices genoa salami, 2 slices dry pepper salami, 1/4 cup onion, 1/4 cup red pepper, 1 cm cheese, 5 baby carrots, 5 cucumber slices, 5 snap peas
s- smart popcorn, kiwi fruit

That’s around 1770 calories which is my target range.

I started my weight loss journey on September 27 2008 and as of November 21 2008 I had lost 41 lbs.  I’m pretty proud of myself.
