General November 6th, 2009It was cold this morning when I took the garbage out to the curb. Sometime this afternoon I’m going to do some out side work, hopefully for the last time. I didn’t see any frost.
Yesterday morning breakfast was a boiled egg, a package of oatmeal, 9 almonds, almond milk. For lunch I had a bbq rib sandwich and a side salad and a piece of fat free cheese. Dinner was hardly anything. I bought a Sonic extra long chili dog and it was so salty I threw it away. I did have a regular dr pepper.
My visit to the gyn was not pleasant. He sent me to the lab to be tested for anemia, then decided that I needed another biopsy. While he was doing that he found and removed a polyp. He told me that removing the polyp may resolve my problem, but he wasn’t going to rule out surgery until my test come back. He said no 59 year old woman should have to deal with this. I’m bleeding and not in a regular cycle. Thank you sir.
While I was waitng for him to come to the the exam room I was reading the NEA (North East Arkansas) medical magazine. It seems that NEA is on a healthy life style “kick” so to speak. Their is a group of internal medicine doctor’s that have a program that will help you get healthy and lose weight. I’m really thinking about calling for an appointment. My insurance also has a program that I could use I need the accountiblity in person. But I’m going to wait until I hear from the test results before I make that decision. I may talk to my doctor about it also. I feel like my current problem is holding me back in my weight loss.
I did call my bff to let her know what was going on. I told her that I might stop by after the appointment but all I wanted to do was go home. I think she was ready to get out of this marriage.

ive got a gyn appt next week I am not looking forward to. I am certain the fibroids I have are starting to give me problems, and I am not so happy about having to do something about that.
Hope it all works out for you. Its worth giving the NEA a call and see what it is all about anyway! GL
