198.4 is disgusting but what I ate yesterday was disgusting also.  

15 minutes on the treadmill.  I’m learning not to crank her up at the very beginning.  I’ve lowered my starting point to 1.7 then to 2.0. with my short legs this is a fast pace for me. Jillian’s voice for some reason keeps popping in my head telling me not to hold on.   Completed 5 minutes on the eliptical and 15 minutes on the recumbant bike. Then completed hammer curls, front arm raises and side twist using the 5 pound weights.  The ab machine had 27.5 pounds for 2 sets of 15 and the chest fly machine had 10 pound weight and also did 2 sets of 15.  My upper body strength is not very good.

It’s Holloween and I’m not looking forward to tonight.  I don’t participate even though I did when I was younger.  To me it symbolizes the devil’s night.

I haven’t done much toward cleaning the house this week end. It’s been to  dark and rainy.  Infact when I got out to go to the gym yesterday my area was flooded out in spots.  My street was too but I bypassed that area and used the next street over.  The water has gone down.  It was a good decision not to travel this week end.  This week it’s suppose to be sunny but on the cool side.

It’s raining again.  I’m  wondering how many day’s in a row that’s it’s done this. There is water sitting on top of the ground with no place to go.

I did go to the gym yesterday and didn’t kill myself.  10 minutes on the treadmill, 5 minutes on the eliptical and 5 on the bike.  I chose the lateral pull down machine, ab machine, hip abductor machine, chest fly, and upper back machine each of these had approximatley 30 pounds of weight, except the chest fly 10 pounds is all I can handle on this machine.  Completed 2 sets of 12. I’m not over doing things this time.

Food was, oatmeal and a boiled egg for breakfast.  Lunch was a pimento cheese sandwich, baked beans and a few chips.  I did have two slices of pizza after my work out yesterday thinking this would be my food allotment for the day but a friend called and wanted to go eat Mexican.  I chose a Mexican Salad. and an apple  after I got home.  It was good.

Weight this morning is 197.6. 

I don’t like participating in the Holloween activities. My plan is to not be at home. So I’m going to the gym around 3 p.m. then to Walmart, to eat. and then the grocery store. If it’s still raining I’m going to stay home with the light’s out. NOW get this yesterday on the new’s they were telling child preditors to do the same thing.

I’ve been working again in my spare bedroom trying to get it decluttered and ready for company at Thanksgiving. Why do I allow myself to put thiings in here with out picking up the next day. I’ve got to get back on my routine of cleaning house.

I watched Soap net last night thinking that something was going down yesterday on General Hospital.   Last night the preview for today indicates that Claudia will be killed off but by whom I don’t really know.  She has enemies.  Jason had  found cd’s of where she had ordered a hit on Sonny and now Michael has remembered her telling him that she was responsible that he got shot.  Also watched  a show called a 427 pound teenager.  I also like to watch the Body challenge but it comes on after the Biggest loser on eith fittv or on BBC.

There was way to much caffiene yesterday.  I didn’t get sleepy until 2 a.m. but my throat has been bothering me due to drainage due to  all this yucky weather.  I took some histamine around 2 this morning and slept till 11 a.m.  It’s still very dark outside.  I could probably sleep all day.  But the histamine has help to dry up part of the drainage.

The month of October is zooming to a close.  Its another dark dreary day.  We’re under a flash flood watch.  The weather people here have predicted storms and 3 to 6 inches of rain.  It’s smells moldy outside.  There will be no trip to my uncles this week end. 

Weight this morning is 195.4 which is good considering I ate a big meal after 7.30 p.m.  However, it was not fast food.  I was tempted but I stopped by the grocery store on the way home and bought some healthy, low sodium stuff.   Blood pressure this morning is 127/73 with pulse rate of 78.   

Yesterday goals  that were met was the walking 10 minutes.  I may go to the gym later today if it’s not storming.  I only drank 32 oz of water.  I know one thing I can not  handle a diet 7 up. I like the diet Sprite’s better.  Still no caffiene.  I do have a regular dr pepper in the fridge. 

I was very tired last night and ended up sleeping on the couch.  I had the beginning of a sore throat but it’s not bad after I’ve been up for an hour.  I’m still thinking that I’ll go to the doctor a little later today to get a shot for the drainage.  We’re suppose to take flu shots next week. 

Today agenda is to rest, laundry and  the bed rooms. It’s time to get with it.

Food last night included a lean cuisine sphagetti dinner and salad.  Crackers after I got home and 3 Double Stuf Oreo.  Someone mentioned these on FB the other day and that was a trigger. I made my 48 oz of water and my 2 five minute walks yesterday.  I’m wondering if my new shoes is affecting my back but they are not suppose to.  I’m wearing lighter weight shoes today so I can tell.

Up this morning to another dark dreary start.  The sun is predicted to shine today around mid morning. There is a gorgeous golden treen outside my window.  Breakfast was eggs, bacon and gravy this morning.  And there has been 2 fun sized Snickers eaten. 

Weight this morning was 195.8.  and blood pressure was 128/80 with pulse at 83.  The doctor will be okay with this but he wants my perfect bp to be 100/60 pulse around 65.  I felt nervous this morning for some reason.  Work has been quiet this week.

Weight this morning is 197 but there is bloat from the female problems so I’m not concerned.  I’m also cramping again with lower back pain. 

Breakfast has been  eaten.  Maple and brown sugar oatmeal plus 1/4 cup of whole almonds. 

Woke up to more rain this morning.  Ugh. 

Update:  mid morning snack of 2 fun sized Snickers, lunch was a roast beef sandwich and a regular 7 up.  I’m trying to cut out caffiene again.  I need to cut out sugar but one thing at a time.  mid afternoon snack was 2 packages of peanut butter crackers. 

Water intake so far is almost 32 oz.  My goal is 48 oz but I doubt that I reach this. 

Exercise.  I did walk 4 minutes before my back started to hurt again.  I’ll try for may more minutes a bit later.  My goal is to walk 1o minutes today.

I’ve had a good week end and will be going back to work tomorrow.  UGH On the way home this afternoon I stopped by Walgreens to pick up some Thermal wraps for my lower back.  I did call the gyn Friday and have an appointment on November 5.  Back to Walgreens, my neice’s husband is an upcoming artist.  You can check out his work at www.chuckpinson.com.  He has had some puzzles published by Prism and are located in different stores.  I’ve been checking at Walgreen’s because that’s where they were to be first.  I found one today.  I wanted to do a happy dance.

I’ve purchased new clothes over the past couple of weeks.  Yes, they are a size bigger.  My new bra’s are a 44c and my new jeans are an 18W. My tops are a 2x.  I’m not going to be hard on myself, I know what I need to do to get it off..  Yes there may be blimps that get in the way, stress is the biggest one and the on going problem that I hope the gyn can fix.  If he suggest surgery, I’ll take it.  I’m tried of the whole ordeal.  The reason I put off the last appointment was the thought of the biopsy in which he said that he would do along with an ultra sound. The biopsy can’t be much worse than the cramping I’ve had lately.  I don’t think my aunt believe’s me but it’s not her body it’s mine.  I really don’t care at this point.   I’ve been miserable.  I think she afrad that I’ll  want her to take care of me. 

I saw some people at the resturant where we ate lunch  today that went to church where my mom did.  It was good to see them.  I took a picture to church  that I found while going through some of my mom’s pictures.  It was me at age 3 my little sister probably 9 months my older sister and my two male cousins.  I showed it to my male cousins at church this morning.   They were in awe.  One cousin said that was a lo o o ng time ago. (56 years ago to be exact)  There was no date but my little sister was born in January of 1953. 

It’s past my bedtime.  And i still need to put sheets on the bed and take a shower.  I really don’t want to go to work in the morning.  But this will be a three day work week so it shouldn’t be bad.

I’ve been doing some surface cleaning after deep cleaning this week. The kitchen and bathroom are done.

The pay check came this morning so errands will be ran this afternoon.  I need to go back to the doctor to see why the lower part of my spine aches.  It’s ouching more and need to be careful when turning or bending in certain directions.  I’m hoping that he’ll send me to  x-ray to see if this is an arthritis flare up.  I’d be more curious to find out if there is an imflamation diagnosis as to what it is causing it.

I ate more after I posted yesterday and didn’t exercise.  Excuses, Excuses!!! I’m planning on going to the gym to walk for 30 minutes, And some upper body work, but this will depend on what the doctor prescribes. 

I haven’t been hungry  this morning, but I did manage to eat a bowl of cherrio’s, a banana, with almond milk.  It’s time to record this and get on with my day.  I spend entirely to much time on the computer. 

Update

I did make it to the gym.  Walked 20 minutes on the treadmill then did the ab machine for 40 reps at 37.5 pounds, the upper back machine at 30 pound weights for 40  reps.   The I rode the recumbant bike for 10 minutes. This took 45 minutes.  I did some stretching with Gilad when I got home. 

I now know what is casuing my lower back problems.  It has to do with my cycle, which I’m not suppose to be having any more.  I called the gyn to make an appointment.  It’s November 5, at 2 p.m.  I’m dreading the biopsy but right now I really don’t care.  I really think this is the cause of my weight gain.   Monday I’ll call the dermatologist.

Thursday Afternoon

I thought I had e-mailed my sister about not coming to Missouri today. She called around 3 p.m. asking where I was.  Where am I,  asleep on the couch with a headache.  From now on I’ll call her.  Ugh.  I thought she was going to cry.  We don’t get to see enough of each other as it is.

This morning I wanted MCD’s pancakes  and medium orange juice but oh my what calories they contained.  WW points were totaled at 21 and my limit for the day is 26 points/1200 calories.  ugh and double ugh.  For lunch I had a pear and for dinner I’m making my version of stir fry’s with noodles.  NO WONDER i have not been losing weight but gaining. 

Total steps so far today is 4, 336. This is mainly from cleaning out two closets.  I’ve took down several different things that I will never wear again and will donate them. 

Dr Oz settled a question for me this afternoon. An average adult can tolerate one egg per day.  I like eggs but was afraid of the high cholesterol content.  So now I’m going back to my boiled  egg, oatmeal and blueberries  for breakfast.  He said it was the fat in your diet that caused cholesterol levels. 

Whew, I’m full.  I decided to make my version of stir fry veggies and noodles for dinner.  It’s very simiple and healthy.  I should  not have had that second helping.  I ate 1.5 cups of noodles and 1.5 cups veggies.  Also had 2 slices of  oat bran bread  and 3 WW Pecan Crowns. My total for the day should  approximately be 34 points.  I’m still over even if I had used the flex points. 

For me it’s easier to add calories  then convert them to points so here’s my total calorie.

1450 calories eaten-1200 metabolism=250 calories left to burn.  Pedometer shows 117 calories burned so  this means I need to burn 133 more calories to make an effort  in making the scale go down.  I’ll ride the stamina bike to burn 200  calories to give my system a little extra burning power. A stamina bike is like a regular stationary bike except the handle bars move.  It gives you a very good cardio work out. 

Now I need to go clean out the fridge and clean up the kitchen.  Garbage man runs tomorrow. 

 

 

Wednesday

Vacation is drawing close to an end.  I’ve never had a vacation for just me.  I’ve always have gone some where.  Last Thursday  I did go to a district water meeting in Paragould and spent the night with my aunt and uncle  as my uncle had a discogram procedure Friday morning.  I took them.  The rest of the week has been all mine.  In fact I canceled the trip to my sister’s.  It was going to be an extremely short and hard trip, a six hour drive both ways.   I was concerned of the effects driving would have on my lower back and hip which has been giving me problems.

My house cleaning scheduled has been hindered to the fact that my body was tired.  Rest and relaxation is what this person needed.  After all this is my vacation. 

Yesterday I did some work in the yard.  Mowed the neighbors and my front yards  and  raked almost a bale of pine needles to the curb and winterized some flower beds.  Hopefully this will be the last time the lawn is mowed.  B is coming Saturday to mow our back yards.  There was some frost last week.   

My eating habits have been better this week.  There has been absolutely no stress.  I have found a weight watchers  branch in another city an hour away,  but if I join this I’ll have to do it from home. I have access to the gym for free since I’m a city employee.  I’ve found a site that I can calulate points and this is basically what I need.  I also have my sister’s WW  companion books.

It’s raining this morning and probably will be all day from the looks of the radar map.  That’s okay because I still have a ton of things to do inside.

I’m hungry for pancakes. 

I’m still concerned that I haven’t heard from my friend who is in the process of a divorce.
