Here I am,

50 days into my diet and I have lost 18lb so far. Honestly it’s not as bad as people make it out to be but at the same time, I can’t help but wish it would come by a lot faster.

I thought in 50 days I would’ve lost 50lb.

HA! Jokes on me!!

All kidding aside, though, I do realize that what I put in my body has a huge impact on how much I weigh and how much I will weigh once I am done with this journey.

I have started on March 20th, 2011 at 214.8 lb.

I now weigh in on May 9th, 2011 at 196.8 lb.

My goal is to be anywhere between 135 to 145. At my heaviest.

Going grocery shopping is the biggest eye opener for me.

I had never counted calories or looked at any of the things I was putting in my body.

Now, everything I used to eat, gives me a disgusting feeling even thinking about the fact that I would eat 3 of those things I thought tasted SOOO GOOD, yet again they were 700 calories each!!

No wonder I got fat!!!!! It was no one elses fault but my own!

And guess what, this weight loss will be no one else’s achievement, BUT MY OWN.
