Lack of Planning/Forgetting is Bad!

I did a really poor job of planning my meals today. First I work up late so I had to grab something at work instead of the breakfast at home I had planned. When I got to work I realized that I had left my lunch on the counter at the house, so I had to go back and get. Then, people at work reminded me that we were supposed to go out for birthday lunches today (didn’t do to badly there - Applebees “WW-approved” lunch; unfortunately, I followed that up with a Three Musketeers!). With a mere 4 points left for the day, I was at least motivated to earn some activity points. My final whoops of the day was fixing dinner before I checked the points for it. So after all that I didn’t quite break even today (although I think that mowing the lawn when it’s 105 degrees outside should be worth a few more points than mowing when it’s 85 degrees outside). How’s that for rationalization?

Rebooting once again : )
Mom and I are going to try Weight Watchers online. My initial goal is to get to 249.4 lbs (5% of my body weight). I am really going to focus on the activity side of this equation since I’ve unfortunately gotten completely out of the habit of doing the part of the weight loss equation I used to be really good at.
Today’s Weight: 262.5 lbs

Points Used Today: 43.5 (family decided to come up to celebrate a promotion I just got - had to go to our favorite Italian restaurant. Worth every point!)
Activity Points Today: 31 (lots of activity working in the yard and cleaning the house - it was looking like one of those houses on the hoarding shows)
Total for the Day: -19.5 (hooray!)

You just have not lived until you’ve gotten home at 3:30am and had to search through closets full of too-small clothes for something suitable to wear to an 8:00am meeting with your company’s president. If I’m never going to lost weight, I really need to go shopping (actually, I really need to go shopping either way!). Fun times!

I’ve been cleared to start trying aerobic exercising again - I’m planning a bike ride with the dog and a trip to the gym this afternoon. I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
