Realizing Reality

Can I just say that we did not have enough trick-or-treaters last night - in Dog’s opinion that is!  Halloween is hands-down Dog’s favorite holiday.  She watches out the window until she sees the kids coming up the sidewalk then runs over to sit by the door.  I hold her by the collar while the kids get the treats, just so she won’t knock them over with her enthusiastic waggling.  Dog’s favorites were the little cowboy, hobo, and Fred Astaire that gave her a hug and a kiss.  She only barked at the two boys that ran across the yard instead of coming up the sidewalk.  She usually plays with her nylabone or her kong toy in the evening but she’s so worn out that she’s been sleeping all night.
