Vacation’s Over

Tomorrow is the start of the April challenge and the day I told myself a few weeks ago that I would get serious about diet/exercise again. I’ve been trying on the diet but I decided to give myself a few weeks guilt-free to get things done around the house and in the yard. I’ve gotten enough stuff done that most people could consider my activity level to be pretty well exercising but incidental exercise has never been very effective for me. In a way, I am very excited about getting back to no-kidding exercise because I have noticed that for the first time in my life, I’m in such bad physical shape that my muscles hurt after doing really simple things like taking pictures of our calves (baby cows - not the leg muscles!) and planting flowers. Not good!
Plus, I’ve got to lose the weight I’ve GAINED in the last week plus at least 1-2 more pounds in the next few weeks. I so DO NOT want to go back to the endocrinologist having gained fricking weight.
Today’s activities:
- Planted flowers, weeded flower beds, 1.5 hours
Eating: Not too good
Water: 2.0 liters
