My TOM….Ugh!

OK so, I ‘ve been working really hard lately trying to reach my goals and today I stepped on the scale and it said 273! I was shocked because just yesterday I was 267. I didn’t let it get me down though, I just decided to work harder this week so I go and eat breakfast then I do my workout. when I finished my workout I found out it was my TOM. So I put two and two together and ding ding ding!! I gained 6 lbs because of my TOM. smh At first I was pissed then I just realized that the weight always goes away by the end of the week. I will do my best to stay on plan this week.

Excess Skin!!!! Ahhhhhhhh

OK, so I have to lose a lot of weight. When I first started my journey I was 292 lbs now I’m 267 so that’s 25 lbs lost. I want to get to 199 lbs by summer then 150 lbs by 2013. I moisturize, drink tons of water and my skin is thick and elastic yet I’m still deathly afraid of getting loose skin. I talked to my doctor and he said that my age play the biggest role in the loose skin department and he says the odds are in my favor but I still can’t shake the thought. My dad suggested that I wear compression garments after I lose the weight and my skin should tighten up…….I guess I’m just being paranoid.

My mom said it might depend on the length of time I’ve been obese *gulp*. I’ve obese for about 4 years and overweight for about 8 years but I’ve always had a relatively flat stomach even when I weighed 180 lbs even now my fat is evenly distributed throughout my body. I really hope I don’t have the sagging skin, I’m only 19 and that would be DEVASTATING to lose 140 lbs and then I still can’t wear a bikini. ugh, it makes me wanna cry.

I’ve been doing more weight training and muscle building/conditioning exercises so that should help also. Well all I can do is hope and pray I don’t get it and wait to see what happens but in the meantime…….I’M GOING CRAZY!!

Hey guys, So I’ve been slacking, on my writing not my diet! Actually I’ve lost 24 lbs. I’m so proud of myself. *hugs myself*. So my sister and I have been eating healthy and working out everyday! I’ve taken before pictures and I plan to take pictures on the second of every month. I’m not going to post them until I meet my goal of 199. I’m hoping and praying I get there by June this year, I think I can make it if I work hard enough.

I lost 11 lbs in January, I’m trying to lose 11 lbs this month but I’m silently hoping it’s more. Last month I had a few setbacks where I gained because I didn’t exercise or eat right but at the end of the month I did really good. I’ve also started Feb. off really well, I’m really hoping I lose a lot more this month than I lost last month. I’m currently 268 lbs so If I lose 11 lbs this month I will be 258 lbs, so wish me luck!

Itsy Bitsy teeny weenie yellow polka dot bikini..

Hey ladies! & gents lol. So I’ve joined a bikini challenge, I want to lose 80 pounds in 6 months. I know I can do it I just have to stay on track. Now that I live on my own I know I can stay on track with my exercise and eating because I control all the food that comes in my house and I also can exercise inside my house. I am currently 279 lbs! and I’m aiming to get to 199 by the summer. that’s about 3.2 lbs per week but I know that when I first start losing weight I average about 5 lbs per month so later on in my challenge I will probably lose around 1-2 lbs per week but since I lose so quickly at first It will be ok to lose so little later on. I just have to stay on my plan this time. wish me luck!

Tuck that tummy tight!

Hey girls (& guys!). Sooo I’ve decided to start doing sit-up,crunches,side bends. Ya know the stuff that creates yummy looking abs lol. I’ve always had a semi-flat belly even at my highest weight due to my hour-glass figure. ;) So I find that I lose weight the quickest in my mid-section. I also can do a lot of stomach exercises before I get tired. Of I’m gonna pace myself so I don’t hurt myself and I’m gonna slowly work myself up to an acceptable amount of sit-ups/crunches.

I’m gonna start with 5 reps of 20 twice a day for a week.

A BIG update!

ok so I haven’t posted in soooo long. I just moved back to Cali! my internet just wasn’t working for a long while, my scale got broken (fell out of the truck along with my flat screen!) it’s ok though because I replaced them both! but I’ve gained a few, I’m at 284 right now but I’m slowly getting back on track, now that everything is set-up at my new house and I’m going back to work. So that was my big update lol.

*Sigh* Gained 3 lbs during TOM.

So, TOM showed his ugly face lol & I gained 3 lbs. I hope that it’s just water weight but It’s only three pounds so it’s not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Cleaning out my fridge & TOM hates me.

Welp TOM is here but I will still be trying to lose during dreadful time lol. I have lost 17 lbs so far & I am sooooo happy about that. Now on to more important things, I cleaned out my fridge with the help of my dad ( he’s the best). We took all of my ground beef, steak, roast, you know all the “unhealthy” meat out and took it my parents house. We then went to the grocery store, after going online to find meal plans, and got lots of new delicious healthy stuffs to eat.

New scale? Why yes, I would love one :D.

Hi everyone! So my dad bought me a new scale, it’s an Eat-Smart & I love it! I weighed myself on my old scale and on the new scale and they are pretty much the same except one thing. The new scale is consistent but my old varies between 1-5 lbs over (& sometimes under) my actual weight. I currently weigh 277! That’s 15 lbs lost. :D

Moving back to Cali!

Moving Back To CA.

Ok so I’m moving back to California at the end of October! I can’t wait! Texas is a great place but I am definitely a Cali Girl lol. So me and my big sis are moving back out there we’ve saved up money for our apartment we’re getting our car fixed for the drive out there. We’ve pretty much planned this move for 3 years.

I have the cutest Yorkie named Giselle ( Named after Beyonce lol) She brings me lizards! the funny thing is they’re always still alive! She catches them in my backyard and brings them in the house and sets them by my feet.
