Weighed in this morning, and I lost the 2 pounds that I ‘gained’ back on Friday. So my official weight this morning was 219.5.

I didn’t walk this morning, but will hit the pavement this evening. My back feels a lot better, but is still a little sore. I’ll stick with walking for the next week, giving my back a little more time to heal. Walking also allows me to slow down and to focus on breathing and holding in my stomach. Then, when that becomes second nature and my back feels 100%, I’ll pick up with jogging again, one lap at a time!

15 minute mile walk. I felt great and had a good sweat!

Also, I weighed in and ‘gained’ back 2 of the 4 pounds that I lost. It’s that time of the month for me, so I expected that! Official weight this morning: 222.

Yesterday, I took the day off from exercise. I went to a graduation party (3 hour drive away!) and had too busy a day to fit it in!

Today, I did a 15 minute mile walk. My back is still sore, and I don’t want to end up going to the doctor’s over this. I’m taking it easy right now.

I did sweat quite a bit and wore my back brace during my walk. I might have to put the jogging on the shelf for a week or so, while my back heals. I will begin core and back strengthening exercises this week.

I am incorporating more and more SuperFoods into my diet, reducing my portions and keeping my water intake up. Slow and steady, I’ll get there!
